"SEC - S9W5: "The Internet, my best ally"

Assalamualaikum all of my friends. How are you all? I hope you all are well. I'm fine too. Today is Steemit Engagement Challenge Season9 Week5 and this week I am going to participate in the first engagement challenge hosted by the "RECREATIVE STEEM" community. The topic of engagement challenge for week 5 in "RECREATIVE STEEM" community is "Internet, my best ally" and I thank the "RECREATIVE STEEM" community team and now I present my post on this wonderful topic.

What do I do online?

Basically online I work on steemit platform and steemit platform is my only source of online income. I spend a large part of my day on this steemit platform hoping to get something good in the future. Since I want to work with the steemit platform for a long time now I spend a large part of the day on steemit to maintain a good position on this platform through hard work.

Also sometimes I use Facebook & Massanger which is an online side app to communicate with my friends. I watch YouTube videos for entertainment and sometimes talk to steemit users on Discord server to discuss steemit platform which is my daily online work.

How old have I been using the internet and how much time do I use the internet every day?

I started using internet since 2015 when I was 16 years old. At that time I had just completed my secondary education. My grandmother then bought me "HUAWEI Y2II" mobile with Bangladeshi "6190 Taka" or "309.5 STEEM" which was an Android mobile and since then I came to the internet world.

Currently I use the internet for my needs for about 13 hours in a 24 hour day. Since joining the Steemit platform, as my work on the internet has increased, I spend more time on this platform. Also spend my time on Facebook, Discord, Youtube.

Does my home have internet access? If so, how much does the service cost?

First of all I want to say that I have a good internet connection at home. First of all I have huge "Banglalink" 4G sim tower next to the window of my house from where the internet comes to my house very well. Secondly last 3 months ago I took my home "wifi" internet line with net speed "8mbps" hoping for better internet and to reduce internet cost. Me and my elder sister take advantage of "wifi" internet in our house with only 2 mobiles.

Every month I have to pay Bangladeshi "600 Taka" or "30 STEEM" to wifi line people to receive internet service from this "wifi". Currently I am receiving only "wifi" service for internet.

Why do I think the Internet can be harmful?

I have noticed some of the damage done by the internet a long time ago. For example: In today's advanced age mobiles are being handed over to children and they are stuck on different wave sides of the internet after getting the mobiles which is really sad. It is very sad that children are drifting away from education due to excessive use of internet and they are embracing online mobile games. Where we used to go to the field along with education and play various sports like football and cricket so that our mind and body were healthy, most of the children today are addicted to the internet through mobile phones, which is considered as a bad aspect for building a developed society. Also, staying awake at night with excessive internet can lead to various physical problems and even stoke which can cause death to people. That's why I think we can face such problems through the internet.

What benefits has the internet brought to my life?

Internet has made my life easier like other people in the society. Because through internet we can establish contact with distant relatives even outside the country. It has become possible to send money remotely to mobile phones through the Internet. Online education system has been introduced in various educational institutions using the internet. In today's world, a large number of people are established through this online income, behind which the contribution of the Internet. It is possible to watch the news of different countries and abroad through the internet at home. In a word, the contribution of internet to education, medical and various improvements of the people and the country is remarkable.

Conclusion

Currently, information and communication technology is the main driving force of all developments in the world and the more advanced the technology of the country, the more powerful the country. In this field of information communication, the need for the Internet is undeniable. Therefore, the role of the Internet in building a developed country and society is immense.
