#steemit espero que hayan tenido una semana hermosa y productiva, nuevamente por acá, porque hoy es viernes y el cuerpo lo sabe como dicen aquí en Venezuela, y mi cuerpo sabe que hoy es viernes de Fotografías, así que aprovechando que salí de mi casa a una consulta médica porque seguimos con el asma no desaproveche la oportunidad y tome unas fotografías hermosas de nuestra iglesia Santa Inés.

#steemit I hope you have had a beautiful and productive week, here again, because today is Friday and the body knows it as they say here in Venezuela, and my body knows that today is Picture Friday, so taking advantage that I left my house for a medical consultation because we still have asthma I did not miss the opportunity and took some beautiful pictures of our church Santa Inés.
Les voy a contar un poco de la historia de esta pieza hermosa de arquitectura con la que cuenta nuestro estado Sucre, está iglesia es llamada "IGLESIA CONCATEDRAL DE SANTA INES", que aunque todos creían que era nuestra principal no lo es, aúnque si es la iglesia más antigua de Cumaná, y está ubicada en el barrio San Francisco y se construyó sobre las ruinas de una antigua Ermita en honor a la Virgen del Carmen.
I am going to tell you a little of the history of this beautiful piece of architecture that our state of Sucre has, this church is called "IGLESIA CONCATEDRAL DE SANTA INES", which although everyone believed that it was our main church, it is not, although it is the oldest church in Cumaná, and is located in the San Francisco neighbourhood and was built on the ruins of an ancient hermitage in honour of the Virgen del Carmen.
Inicialmente está iglesia fue nuestra cátedral aunque luego se le dió la sede de catedral a otra iglesia, pero está iglesia mantiene su nombre de concatedral, aunque siendo sincera acá creo que muy pocos saben que se llama así, cuando hacen referencia a esta iglesia dice: "IGLESIA CATEDRAL" esto lo aprendí mientras hacía mis estudios en mi segunda carrera universitaria de Turismo, de allí que se algunos datos que pocos son conocidos.
Initially this church was our cathedral although later it was given the cathedral seat to another church, but this church maintains its name of co-cathedral, although being sincere here I think that very few know that it is called like this, when they make reference to this church it says: "CATHEDRAL CHURCH" this I learned while doing my studies in my second university career of Tourism, from there that I know some data that few are known.
Las imágenes con las que cuenta está iglesia son coloniales es decir muy antiguas al punto de que muchas de ellas casi en su mayoría han sido restauradas, pero no han perdido su belleza y magestuosidad.
The images in this church are colonial, i.e. very old, to the point that most of them have been restored, but they have not lost their beauty and majesty.
Ahora bien hablemos de la parte arquitectónica, esta hermosa pieza de arquitectura cuenta con tres (3) naves que se dividen por arcos que se apoyan en columnas dóricas, si hablamos de su fachada está compuesta por dos (2) torres campanario de sección cuadrada, con líneas octogonales, con una cúpula y en el centro podemos observar tres(3) arcos de punto medio que reposan en columnas dóricas.
Now let's talk about the architectural part, this beautiful piece of architecture has three (3) naves that are divided by arches that rest on Doric columns, if we talk about its façade it is composed of two (2) bell towers of square section, with octagonal lines, with a dome and in the centre we can observe three (3) arches of average point that rest on Doric columns.
Se dice que en está iglesia existen unas fosas donde están sepultadas personaje icónicos y de relevancia en el Estado, Aunque no sé sabe cuál es el lugar exacto dónde está ubicado
It is said that in this church there are graves where iconic and relevant figures in the state are buried, although the exact location is unknown
El día 2 de agosto del año 1960 fue decretada cómo patrimonio histórico nacional otro punto de relevancia es que en ella se hallaba una campana de bronce que pesa unos 500 kilos y que está del año XVIII pero lamentablemente en el año 2018 debido a un repunte en los delitos de extracción de material estratégico fue hurtada y aún no ha aparecido.
On August 2, 1960, it was decreed as national historical heritage, another point of relevance is that it contained a bronze bell that weighs about 500 kilos and is from the 18th century, but unfortunately in 2018, due to an increase in crimes of extraction of strategic material, it was stolen and has not yet been found.
Está iglesia es muy importante para los cumaneses y es bastante visitada, sobre todo en la semana santa , y forma parte de un recorrido casi que obligatorio si hablamos en materia de turismo, no solo por su arquitectura, sino que se haya en pleno casco histórico de la ciudad, es decir se ubica en la zona colonial en la calle Sucre.
Este templo es considerado por muchos quizás más importante que la misma catedral, porque en él está nuestra patrona de la ciudad "Santa Inés" .

This church is very important for the people of Cuman and is visited a lot, especially during Holy Week, and is part of an almost obligatory tour if we talk about tourism, not only because of its architecture, but also because it is located in the historic centre of the city, in the colonial area on Sucre Street.
This temple is considered by many to be perhaps more important than the cathedral itself, because it houses the patron saint of the city "Santa Inés"
