The diarygame (03/01/2023)|| The return trip from the village and reflection on City life vs village life 🌁🌿🌱/ with video
We couldn't believe it! The long holiday was already over and we all had to separate from each other. Most of us thought that the holiday has ended so soon. Some children yearned for the holidays to be extended so that they don't have to go back to school early. Adults knew that thus was reality and they have to go back to their businesses.
Well, yes, the holidays are indeed ended and we had to go back from our trip to the village. Yes we enjoyed our long vacation there and on the 3rd of January is where everyone packed their stuffs to leave.
How it all started||Morning
The previous night most of us had already packed their bags and kept it ready to go, while others waited till morning to do that since we planned to leave by 12:00 pm.
It was as early as 5:00 pm that we were woken up from the bed to arrange things at home, by that time my uncle from the U.S and the family were already set to leave. So we all gave them a farewell and they left. We were already missing them.

But back to the business of the day, we got to work at home, we made sure we cleaned the corners of the house, the fridge and so on while my aunt ngoenyi was supervising us. After the cleaning my aunt made delicious Nigerian stew for us to eat while my sister boiled the white rice to eat with it and the the egg. And that is what we had for breakfast.

After eating we took our baths and dressed up to wait for the driver to arrive. While waiting for the driver, we went to visit our big uncle to tell him that we were leaving and so he told us to take care of ourselves and also gave us some money as gifts.
When we came home it was already past 12:00 pm and the driver still hadn't arrived. So we took the opportunity to watch some movies to pass time, some even wished that the driver doesn't come so that we extend our stay there 😂.
Finally the driver arrived at 1:40 Pm and we set out to leave. We also took some pictures together for good memories.

Soon we all entered into the car and from the opening image i this post you can see how we sat there. The takes all of us to a particular city where we will all depart from each other and take different busses to our different locations.
The driver soon drove us out and we were talking a lot in the bus, and how we will miss each other. I carefully observed the roads of the village and the beautiful things we are leaving behind. I also reflected on all the fun things that we enjoyed in the village, and so today I made the video below:
Soon the driver got to UMUAHIA town park and we all got out of the car to take a bus to our different cities. We hugged and said goodbye to each other. Indeed we will all miss each other, but what must be must be!

Village life vs City life

Well if I'm asked to choose, I'd prefer village life to the city. I say this for the following reasons:
- In the village it's more natural and you get to enjoy the fresh air everyday
- There is less pollution (both air, and sound) in the village
- There is less corruption in the villages unlike in the big towns
- There we have a lot of relatives and we all have fun together
- It is always very calm in the village unlike in our big cities where it is very crowded and rowdy.
But since most people cannot survive by just living in the village, they decide to move to the town where businesses are a bit lucrative so that they can meet their daily needs, and then during holidays they go to chill in the village.
I realized that village life is certainly much more fun

Back home in town
I'm happy that we were able to make it safely to Uyo town, I still could not believe it though, but soon we had to adapt. My cousins @fortwis09 and @wizzyboy3 with my aunt @ngoenyi, the four of us arrived home together and soon to start life in the new year back at home and in town.
As soon as we returned and freshened up, our food was already made and we ate before starting to unpack some things.
I'm happy for the memories I've been able to secure, the beautiful relatives I was able to spend time with, and fir the fact that we drive back home safely is a gift from Jehovah God. We all look forward to the next big vacation where we will all be together again!

My wish for you for 2023 will be that you can all return to the village at the end of year to celebrate another year on Mother Earth.

I am Miss all the fun already. I am at the same time grateful to Jehovah for his protection through out our stay and during the journey. You have said it all dear. Let's start our journey again this new year.
