Meditando en Versos: Salmo: 23:1-6
Hello Steemians, Today, I invite you to join me in a deeper exploration of one of the most cherished Psalms, Psalm 23: It’s no surprise that an adoring believer who was also an outstanding poet wrote this. It’s often labelled “Psalm 23”, or The Lord Is My Shepherd. Numerous persons in history have found comfort and hope from his words.
The central theme of Psalm 23: Unwavering care and direction of God (1-6). Just as a sheep guided by a shepherd arrives at the calm green pastures, so God takes us across turbulent waters in our existence. As is the case with most people, they find consolation and strength from this Psalm indicating that one is not alone whatever the situation might be. God, the mighty Shepherd of ours accompanies us all the time leading us in all ups and downs.
This Psalm can help us know how to trust and rely on God in practice. It urges us to relinquish anxiety and fear, believing that our Shepherd (God) knows exactly where the right pathway is leading us. Such a message stands true today, especially when we seem overwhelmed by anxiety and uncertainties in this busy life.
It should be noted that the language used in the Psalm 23 is poetic and assuring. Although they are simple they have their own deeper level that makes them easily memorable thus being able to be absorbed into ones mind. One verse that stands out is: “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” (Psalm 23:4). Here we have all that is contained in the Psalm.
So whenever we read on this psalm, we need to remember praying for peace, especially in places of disturbances like Middle-East even Israel and Palestine. We pray for guidance by God our shepherd as each nation and household goes thru hardships. Let the peace of God that is beyond human comprehension rule over our heart and the way we think.
Lastly, Psalm 23 is an unshakable reassurance that God is always with us. It instils trust on his plan, surrenders fears, and finds refuge under his guard. Since birth till life, let us hold on to this message because it gives comfort saying "The LORD is MY shepherd". Through out this path, it consoles me by affirming that God’s care is forever there for me. We should not forget that it is also the Good Shepherd, which leads its herd, while God himself lead us through all the problems for us to go over them. Let these words provide comfort, strength and direction for you may God enduring compassion and mercy. Amen.

bienvenido a Recreative Steem y a esta iniciativa que pretende motivar la meditación en los versos sapienciales; has elegido el Salmo 23 que es el más famoso a nivel mundial y contiene una poderosa metáfora de Dios como pastor y a nosotros como ovejas de su rebaño.
Lo más dulce, sublime y extraordinario del amor de Dios por su pueblo, en donde queda en claro que si tenemos a Dios como nuestro único y buen pastor, entonces nada nos falta; él no s provee todo, desde la salvación hasta sus cuidados elementales e incluso nos da mas de lo que imaginamos. Nos promete una eternidad por siempre con él en su regazo.

gracias por unirte al concurso meditando en versos con el salmo 23, una de las joyas literarias de la poesía lírica sapiencial hebrea más populares mundialmente en donde metafóricamente se ve a Dios como un pastor y a nosotros como las ovejas de su rebaño.
Un símbolo de provisión, sustento, cuidados, mimos que solo Dios puede darnos y nos promete una eternidad de plenitud junto con él si somos de su rebaño.
Nada nos falta si él está con nosotros como nuestro buen pastor.
