A whiny newbie in town

Hi,

My name is Layhtankone, which is obviously a pseudonym, which means 'verbal fart' in Myanmar. It's not that I am that much privacy conscious. It's just the circumstances that necessitates me to use a pseudonym. Being from Myanmar is part of the reason. Myanmar is a country in South East Asia which was taken over by the military on 1st of February 2021, lead by The Bastard Min Aung Hlaing. Massive protest and Civil disobedience movement (CDM) breaks out all over the country soon. They shoot and killed protestors, detained government officers engaged in CDM, tortured them, killed them in response. It has nothing to do with the peace and benefit of the people. They don't care. They only care to stay in power and continue stealing from people and the country. They still keep hunting down, to this day, even normal civilians of whom they think as an opposer to them, put them in jail, tortured them and killed them. Executed is not the right word. They killed people during the torturing process. Some dead bodies are returned which were very much disfigured from acid burning. Most bodies are never returned. People decided to fight back despite not having a single lethal weapon. People formed forces which are well known as 'People Defence Force' aka PDF. It took a long time, almost a year for the people to get their hands on effective weapons. Parts of the country become battlegrounds. Among them were, Sagaing Region, Magway Region, Chin State, Rakhine State, Kachin State, Kayah State and Karen State. What was Min Aung Hlaing's response? He said he will drag everybody down together. I knew that that bastard really meant it. Now, the economy is tanking. Myanmar Kyats, MMK, which is the country's official currency, of which ~ 5000 is equal to 1 USD now. Before the coup, 1300 MMK = 1 USD. People lost two thirds of their savings. Inflation is rampant. People are suffering. Do the bastards care? Obviously no. They print more money and take all the country's USD into their pocket. If you happened to google USD to MMK, you will see it's ~2100 MMK. That's a lie. They don't care what other countries think of them, they don't care even about their people. It's not this side or that side, this system or that system. It's a handful of evil bastards vs normal civilians. That bastard Min Aung Hlaing is new Kim Jong Un. We grew up watching heroes movies and we yearn for savior. But, we are realizing a reality that no such thing exists. UN, ASEAN, they are just puppets and they will do nothing until the end. We have sacrificed alot including our lives. We do deserve the freedom, don't we? For us, that freedom has gone and our dreams are dead for now. Hopefully, we will prevail soon. So, to those who have taken things for granted, don't be. Take a deep breath, be appreciative and grateful. Don't be too late to realize how blessed you are before your life and freedom is on the line. Don't waste time to pursue your dreams because there can be time when you won't have that freedom anymore There are many things left to be said about how evil these military bastards are. I hope one day after improving my writing, I will be able to describe them well.
