Good day steemians!

July 16, 2023 is our Graduation day but the last day of our work is July 12. And due to conflict of schedules in using the venue, our principal made it to July 16.

But a week before the big day of Mactan National High School, we really had a stressful and busy week. We hurriedly make our grades to meet our deadlines. But the most busy were the advisers because after the subject teachers made their grades they will give it to the respective advisers and the advisers will be the one to consolidate it. Good thing, the IT/ICT teacher in our school was able to make an app wherein the advisers will just encode the student's info, their grades and it will automatically generate all the forms.

And to make it sure that the informations were the same on what so called Learner's Information System or the LIS, we from the Registrar Office were asked by the Division Office to do the Checking of Forms.

✨HOW WE DO THE CHECKING OF FORMS✨

It was already done many years ago that the Master Teachers in each subject will help in checking of forms so that eache level will be checked in a day only. So, since we had 4 year levels, we alloted 4 days only.

In order to have a smooth and accurate checking of forms, our School Registrar I had an orientation first for the checkers as well as the advisers.

She itemized on what to prepare and what to check. And in order for us to have an accurate information for the kids, I am the one who will print the forms generated from the LIS.

By the way, LIS is a platform made by the DepEd Philippines to track the history of the kids. This is very useful especially when the kids keeps on transferring from one school to another. The LIS also had the information of the kids. And it should coincide on the information of the forms.

Once there is a little mistake, our School Registrar can approve the changes but if there were bigger problems, the National Office will be the one to approve it. So, the advicers should be very careful in encoding in LIS.

The checking of forms started at 8am and it sometimes lasted at 6pm depending on the problem on the section.

After checking, if all the details were correct they will surrender the forms to me, I will recheck it again, then the School Registrar will give a link as to where to send the electronic-forms for future purposes. Then their clearance will be signed. And if there were problems on their forms, they must comply it first because they will have the chance to let us sign their clearance.

That's our duty every school year ends.
