Welcome to my blog once again. On this busy day, I want to join the contest organized by Recreative Steem community. This week, a very interesting topic is given and that is A Love Story And want to thanks @graceleon for organizing this contest.

Let's Start

When I was younger, I used to think that love was this grand, all-consuming feeling. I would watch movies and read books and see the characters experience love at first sight and think that was what it would be like for me, too. I would be swept off my feet by some dashing prince and we would ride off into the sunset together. And while that does happen in real life sometimes, I've come to learn that love is so much more than that.

Love is the feeling you get when you know that someone is always going to be there for you, no matter what. It's the comfort you feel when you're curled up in their arms, feeling safe and protected. It's the happiness you experience when you're making them laugh or seeing them smile. It's the little things, like the way they always know just what to say to make you feel better.

Love is sacrifice and compromise. It's giving up your own happiness for the sake of someone else. It's being selfless and put somebody else's needs before your own. It's being there for them, even when you don't feel like it.

Love is patience and understanding. It's knowing that somebody is not perfect and accepting them anyway. It's giving them the benefit of the doubt, even when they don't deserve it. It's forgiving them, even when they make mistakes.

Love is a choice. It's a decision to love somebody, even when they're not perfect. It's a decision to stick by them, even when things are tough. It's a decision to love them, no matter what.

I've come to learn that love is so much more than a feeling. It's a decision. It's a choice. It's something that you have to work at. It's something that you have to sacrifice for. But it's so worth it, because in the end, love is the best thing in the world.
