The traffic victims

This is a story about a teenage girl named Cordelia.

During their graduation in secondary school, all her friends were talking about how one of their aunties or mom's friends had promised to take them abroad for studies.

Cordelia was not happy about the fact that she was the only one left to travel abroad. So she decided to talk to her mom about it. One faithful day, her mom's friend, Madam Dollar, came for a visit and asked that she take Cordelia to Italy for further studies. Cordelia was excited to hear the news.

Unfortunately, Cordelia's father disagreed with her decision to go abroad because he wasn't sure about the work that Madam Dollar had been doing abroad. She comes back with a lot of money from Nigeria, but no one is certain about the work she is doing.

While Cordelia and her parents have been going through a lot of problems, it was so serious that they couldn't even afford three square meals a day. Cordelia cried and begged her dad to let her go, but he refused. Cordelia's mom also begged her husband to let her go, saying that she would even help reduce the problem if she started working over there.

But her husband told her that he wouldn't enslave his child because of family problems. After all the talk and begging to change her husband's mind, it was all a waste; his mind was already made up.

Cordelia decided to run away from home. She then planned with Madam Dollar, and they both agreed on how it would go. Fortunately enough, all of Cordelia's friends who had been saying they were traveling abroad were all true, Madam Dollar.

Madam Dollar had promised some of the girls business opportunities, and when they arrived at the airport, the girls were excited to see each other. Fair enough; she was able to get the girl's passports and get all of them through.

Arriving in Italy, madam dollar, changed entirely. Her attitude toward the girls changed. They were really surprised and thought that they had done something wrong. The girls knew Madam Dollar to be nice and calm.

That same day, Madam Dollar asked her workers to get the girls ready for the night. They were confused about what was going on but had no choice but to obey. Unfortunately for the girls, they have been trafficked into prostitution. Now there is no going back because Madam Dollar has collected their passports.

After some months passed and all the cries of the girls to return to Nigeria, God finally saved them with a helper, and they returned to Nigeria, but sadly, Cordelia had been infected with HIV for a long time but wasn't aware. She cried and begged for forgiveness from her parents. Both parents forgave her, but there's nothing they can do about it.

Moral lesson

_{We should always obey the advice of our parents or guardians because the advice of our parents is superior to that of our friends. This is because the dream and prayer of every parent is for their children to become successful in life. We always have to give a listening ear to the words of our parents.}
