Hello friends of Recreative Steem community, entering into a new week brings fresh air and new ideas. Last week saw the end of a great academic session for me.

We started the term in April on very high hopes, a thrilling 2 months and 2 weeks of intense tutoring and another 2 weeks for examination. The first day of August saw us out of the term for the academic calendar year.

I woke very early after I had planned out how my day would be, I had very little rest because I wanted to be at school very early to help arrange out every thing for the end of the session party.

I arrived the school premise quite very early and I started to clean and arrange the chairs which will be used to accommodate almost 100 parents. After awhile, other of my colleagues came and then joined to arrange and decorate the hall.

We finished setting up everything by 8am and then I went back home to bathe and wear my attire for the day.
Everyone was to be on uniform, a perfect blend of red for the females and white for the males with red accessories.

I arrived early for the event, and by 10am we started the event. The little pupils who were moving from nursery 2 to primary 1 were also being celebrated likewise pupils who were transiting from primary 6 to Secondary school. The event started with music and then a proper welcome song and speech.

Series of presentation were done by the other pupils from primary 1 to primary 4. We saw the kids exhibiting talents in music, presentations, talkshows and the likes. They have been practicing for weeks just to get perfection and It was amazing seeing the kids educating and presenting well to their parents. The kids were very happy presenting and they all talked with confidence. I was very happy seeing them do everything perfectly.

There were also games for the parents, as they competed, danced and had a great time with their kids. For example the picture below was a hook and line game where the two parents were asked to fall the bottle using the hook and line. It was quite interesting seeing them attempting to win.

Gifts were also presented to the kids who did well in Mathematics and English, kids who dressed neatly throughout the term, kids who were well-behaved and punctual too. A lot of the kids were very happy with their gifts

The party came to an end with the valedictory Speech and then parents were entertained with snacks and drinks, the children also had their share. They all went to the classes, got their results and everyone went home.

Well the teachers stayed behind for a meeting after which we took loads of pictures.

I was the photographer, as my phone was a little better for pictures. Everyone took turns taking a shot with me

I took pictures of the whole staff in my school and everyone was just striking poses here and there. I was stressed out but I just had to capture the moment. I love taking photographs.

I took pictures with my best pals also, they have been a great source of support and encouragement throughout the term

I also took pictures with some other colleagues who have been good friends... I always make sure that they smile and feel happy.

Finally, I took pictures with my best friend...she has been a wonderful friend. So I took pictures with her and joked around a little. We all took up to 50 minutes, taking pictures alone ...I took up to 260 pictures that day alone. Well I love to relinquish the memories I get in every event.

I was really tired and exhausted after packing up...so I had to look for food to eat. I went out with my best friend to get grilled chicken and chips.

We bought it and we ate it together, the chicken was really delicious and nutritious.

We walked home together and I went home to sleep and rest for the day
