Hello Steemians, welcome to my post. I am excited to participate in this challenge which I have talked about "Protecting children".
In your own words, what does Child Slavery mean and what are its most common manifestations?
Child slavery is also known as forced labor, which means forcing a child to do what he or she is not supposed to do. To this in my own words, I see "Child Slavery" as when a child is handed over to someone who uses the child for exploitation of his or her gain.
Child slavery involved punishing a child, enslaving the child with work that more the child's ability to do. Most people enslaved other people's children for their selfish gain. The common manifestations of child slavery are sexual assault, child labor, forced labor, sex trafficking, and poor hygiene.
How does forced labor impact the lives of children?
Forced labor is when a child is been made to work against his or her wishes which can impact the lives of the child. Forced labor can impact the lives of children by making children not to have fear over their lives.
It builds the minds of children not to have fear, for their elderly ones. Also forced labor makes children to be more stronger and they feel they have grown to be under the control of their elderly ones. Finally, forced labor makes children develop hate for those who are enslaving them.
What strategies do you consider effective in eradicating forced child labor?
The strategies that I consider effective in eradicating forced child labor are:
Calling on international countries and NGOs for support
Supporting children affected in forced labor by providing them with good healthcare, food, and education.
Monitoring exploitation cases in my community or any form of violence.
I will work towards addressing social problems and the causes behind child labor.
Do you think it is fundamental for children to have the freedom to fully develop and fulfill their dreams? Explain your answer.
Yes, I think it is fundamental for children to have the freedom to fully develop and fulfill their dreams. The dreams of every child are always bright, and if you ask some children what they want to become in the future, you will hear them saying medical doctor, engineer, pilot, accountant and so on which allows them to have the freedom they need to fully develop and fulfill their dreams will help them a lot.
Children hate it when they are controlled by their parents or guardians which will give them freedom and help them to engage with other children who have the same dreams as them. Children feel more comfortable when they are left alone than been guided.

Child slavery is when a children is forced to become slave of another person without any payment and most of the time it occurs due to bad economic conditions in our country so the more there would be bad economy and poverty in a country the more than would be cases like this so there is a need to address the root cause so that we may be able to eliminate this problem from its root.

Sabes amiga yo personalmente estoy decepcionado de las ONG y de las organizaciones mundiales que deben proteger a los niños, pues veo que su trabajo es muy superficial y no cumplir con su función principal de protección a los niños, creo que es una deuda que poseen.

La esclavitud se refiere al acto de obligar a los niños a realizar un trabajo forzoso durante muchas horas al día sin ningún tipo de paga bajo un trato cruel No le permiten al niño cumplir con sus derechos los privan de su felicidad y de sus sueños
Many children are complied to work against their wish which is very bad, as human despite their age they should have some right to play and explore on some creative things. I hope with this topic many will refrain from enslaving children.

Hello @jasminemary It's sad because kids should be playing and learning, not working for someone else's gain. Forced labor can make children feel scared and trapped, but we can help by supporting them with good healthcare, food, and education. You have given a beautiful definition of child slavery. You say that, child slavery means forced labor, or forcing a child to do what he or she is not supposed to do. It's a kind of exploitation which keep them deprive from their basic human rights.
