SEC S17W6: Influencers
Greetings friends,
Influencers has a very vast definition and role in social media as well as in society. So I have tried to explain and describe the topic according to my ways of thinking and understanding.
Every user's career start with zero subscriber and zero views. But the subsequent growth of the user depends upon his or her content value, consistency and periodicity.
It means that value of content and it's acceptance by audiance matters for the return of viewers to channel or profile for new content.
Consistency is in a way decide the neche audiance that becomes dedicated to your channel where you are making a zoner content.
Periodicity is the frequency and timing of the release of content so that your audience can make themselves free for viewing or reading your post.
It is said that content is the king of social media.
If a career gives you freedom, purpose and financial stability it can be considered as one of the best profession. It also gives you privilege to see the world and opportunities to meet people either virtually or really.
According to Kalaari report 2022 there are 80 million creators in India. It means that 80 million people uploaded their videos or content in social media in our country and tried to have a social media following. But only 150000 creators have been able to earn substantially to make it into a full time career. Some failed due to lack of seriousness. Another reason of failure might be they didn't have the required skills. But even then there are lots of people who have all the required skills and persuade it seriously, but aren't successful.
The key to success in social media:
Uniqueness that's your content is not only best it is unique also means audiance have not experienced such content before.
Be valuable and value in your work. Any successful influencer will always produces content with value and uniqueness. But value is subjective it depends upon situations. There are mindless entertainment.
Based on your situation and targeted audience making highly valuable content that are unique is the biggest challenge of content creator. Here is the question of professional approach towards the content creation matters and scope and need of training arises as you need to do this within the limit set your passion, skill and your needs.
Authenticity plays vital role in content creation. Any fake showup is easily noticable to the audience and people lose faith on the creator. Basically the real person what you are, share your opinion with the audience transparently. People actually appreciate the authenticity.
In my opinion quality is much more important than quantity.
Honestly I never dreamt of becoming an influencer particularly creating content of any type. I just shared some random posts which are not of any category but updates. I just shared some photographs in Facebook. I never wrote blog also. Now I find if I practice writing blogs I can also share some content in Steemit. Now seldom I visit to any social media other than Twitter. Moreover I cannot think myself at par with any author who has reputation more than me.
Ofcourse I am admirer of many Steemians. It may not be possible to mention all but they always exist in my following list.
In response to your role model query I would like to mention one person outside Steemit is
https://youtube.com/@flyingbeast320?si=zTmvVT6jGql3Wr1a. His real name Gaurav Taneja who is from Kanpur did his engineering graduation from Kharagpur IIT. His passion was flying as Captain of commercial flight. He also used to make his blog video after marriage to pilot Ritu Rathee. But due to some difference in opinion he left the job of pilot. He has become a full time youtuber. Probably he is the highest qualified youtuber in India. He was perusing law degree course in Delhi but he discontinued because of lack of time. He was not allowed to sit in the third semester due to attandance. He now earns one million INR only from YouTube partnership ad revenue.
I would like to conclude requesting the parents of social media children influencers that they should not spoil the life of children for the sake of money and survive on children's income.
Before I conclude I would like to invite three fellow Steemians to participate in the contest. @crismenia @joymm @eveetim.
Thank you for reading my post.

It's true that before one becomes successful and famous in any field he/she must have faced a challenge of not having support at that beginning but through consistency, quality, adding value and being authentic can take one to the top.
I love your advice to parents of social media influencers that they help their children to be focused till they're old enough to engage on social media.
It was nice reading through your post. Best wishes sir.
Thank you for the observations and good wishes.
