Hello friends
This is the first time I have written here, at the bottom of this post you can find my presentation.
I would like to find a community where I can share days of my life on an ongoing basis, where I can interact and show what the situation is like in my country, Italy.
My day started by working a bit at the PC, I'm trying to grow my YouTube channel by creating new content and then I worked behind Steemit, with some other great people we are running the adventure of a new community: STEEMIT TRAVEL
Saturday was the day where I have to edit the posts, and I always try to do this in the best possible way, but I also like to read about the various travel experiences people have around the world.
The world is better than the way TV makes it out, and social media like Steemit make all the difference.
After finishing this job, I went to the supermarket nearby, because many times on Saturdays I have to go shopping for the week.
I usually go to several supermarkets in the area, I do this to save money, lately inflation in Italy is around 8 per cent, but I fear that after the summer prices will rise again.
I bought some fruit, locally grown peaches, at a cost of almost 2 euro per kg, it is a fruit I like a lot, I even make jam with it for breakfast.
I have noticed that grapes are already available, but they come from Egypt, this price, I see it as exaggerated, and then as I told you I don't want to buy fruit that arrives from far away for ecological reasons, also because in a few months, the grapes will already be ready here, I am going to do a post about it, many don't know me but I live near some vineyards.
I also bought a kg of pears, and let's say the price has come down compared to a few weeks ago.
I always take a kg of potatoes, I try not to eat so many because they make me fat, but I like them so much, then in Italy they are harvesting right now, as you can see the price is low.
Here I share with you, the prices of the most exotic fruit, how expensive it is in Italy, I used to get bananas too then I saw the treatment they give us to preserve them on the long journey and I avoided buying them again.
Finally I also got some melons, these are the ones we grow in Italy, they have gone up a bit in price once they were under one euro, now it is already a lot to find them like this.
In the end I spent almost 10 euro, I forgot to share the receipt which as usual I lost, in the end after only this fruit and vegetable shopping I went home to finish my computer work and did nothing else.
I hope you enjoyed this diary day and that I took you with me to the supermarket, to show you the prices in Italy, I plan to do more days like this.
