A MEMORABLE DAY IN MY LIFE

It is another weekend for the weekend adventure contest organized every week by @marvinvelasquez. Participating in this weekend contest is always fun and memorable.
So i am trying to make it a habbit of participating in the contest every weekend. Which is why i am bringing to you guys my entry or post for this week.

It was once again a time for us to celebrate "eid", which is an Islamic festival. There are two major Islamic festivals which are Eid-ul Adha and Eid-ul fitr. So in my case here, it was Eid-ul Adha. The festival comes with many blessings and memories with it. With this type of festival, the muslim is expected to sacrifice an animal. The not just any animal but these ones;

• Sheep
• Cow
• Camel

These are the preferred type of animals for sacrifice.

HOW THAT DAY WENT

I got up early from bed on that day to bath and prepare myselffor the day. So i took my bath ate some breakfast and headed out to go pick a car.
I was to observe the eid prayers at a different town. So i have to get up early and get going. Because the prayers was to be observed in the morning.

I got there in time. One of my friend was the one i was to go with. It was actually like a visit. He wasn't done with his preparations, so i had to wait for him. We went together after he was finally done. We spent about an hour at the eid prayers. Within which we shared greetings with our neighbors and took some pictures with our loved ones.

After observing the prayers

We went back to my friend's place after the prayers. We were together with other friends. We were actually having conversations, food was brought to us during the conversation. So we ate the food together. After the conversation my friend was called out to come and help with the slaughtering of the sacrificial animals, which was a cow. The slaughtering of a cow requires a god number of people in order to be able to slaughter it. This is because the animal is big and not easy to slaughter. After the slaughtering i told my friend i was about to go home.

So he escorted me to the road side, were by i picked a car and waved him good bye. There was some work to be done at home so i needed to go home early to help them. The work was to help with the slaughtering of the sacrificial animal. I got home and helped them. We were finally done with the work at night. Which all happened on a Saturday
