Health and it's types

Hello dear recreational friends, it is your Nigerian friend @fortwis09 coming to write in line with the protocol for today which is sports and health, but today i will be writing about health.

In simple terms, health is the state of being free from any injury.
Health is also a state of complete, physical, mental and social well-being and not just the absence of disease or infirmity.
It is the condition of being sound in mind, body and in spirit

There are a total of four types of health, which i would like to discuss on.

  • PHYSICAL HEALTH:
    This is the most common type of health, this refers to the state of one's physical body and how well it is operating. It is influenced by people nutrition, rest, environment, etc.
    Physical health includes:

  • physical activity which is strength, flexibility and endurance.

  • Nutrition and diet which includes nutrient intake, food intake, and healthy feeding.

  • Reduced consumption of alcohol and hard drugs.

  • Rest and sleep, which includes periodic rest and high-quality sleep.

  • MENTAL HEALTH:
    This is the level of psychology well-being and the absence of mental illnesses.
    Mental health doesn't necessarily need to mean physical mental illness, it is about getting involved in different things, coping with stress, coping with setbacks, forming relationships.
    In order to maintain our mental health we need to learn to be confident and accept ourselves.
    We also need to learn to keep negative thoughts out of our mind.

  • EMOTIONAL HEALTH
    This refers to a person's feelings, which encompasses everything about the person.
    It governs decisions, mood and who we actually are.
    Everything we do is determined by how we feel at that time.
    It is our sense of well-being it is our ability to be able to cope With life events.
    Emotional health includes, self acceptance, esteem, resilience and the ability to be able to mange strong emotions.
    Emotional health is our ability to cope with positive and negative thoughts, including our awareness of them.

  • SOCIAL HEALTH:
    This is how you get along with other people, which includes the ability to find satisfying relationships, it also includes the ability to adapt to different social environment and act properly on different settings.
    It means an increased amount of happiness and sense of belonging as well as concern for others.
    To have a good and social health we need to engage with other people around us .
    We need to have the ability to start and maintain friendships.
    It also refers to the relationship we have and how we interact with other people.
    In simple terms, social health is the ability to establish a relationship with other people.
