About insects

Insects are small anthropods that are normally characterised by thier four wings, six legs, thorax, and antenna. Insects are found generally everywhere which some are harmful and effective. Examples of insects are: Ants, Spiders, Housefly, termites and so on. Insects can be advantageous to man's survival in so many ways which are:

✨ Some of the insects are best used as food by humans
✨ Farm yard insects keeps the soil moist for plant survival which inturn increase food in the economy.
✨ Insects like bees help produce honey which are used for creams, soaps, food and other basic human.

Ants

What3words

Ants are Crawling anthropods with large head, abdomen and six legs which connect together to make up a body. Ants possess mandible and maxilleas which enable them to chew, bite and grind food materials. Just like humans every living thing has it own habitat, for the ants they live in nest, which sometimes are on the tree, ground and sand surface. Ants reproduce and develop under four main stages which are the egg stage to the larva to the pupa and to the adult.

Grasshopper

Grasshopper are jumping insects that posses antenna use in sensitivity, the head which in it consists of the side eyes with eating and chewing mandibles in the jaws. The thorax to the abdomen complete a grasshopper full body. Grasshoppers helps in the ecosystem by increasing plant existence making it conducive for human survival, also in certain parts of the country grasshoppers are taken as food supplying protein to the human body.

Housefly

Housefly is a common house insect around the globe, mainly found on food, rubbish and dirty materials. Housefly consist of different parts making it one, like the head, thorax, abdomen and legs. Houseflies are commonly seen as dangerous insects that transfer deadly disease.
