SEC - S9W2: "The Music that Moves You"
Asalam-o-Alikum |
---|
Hello everyone. I am Asad Fazal from Pakistan. I hope all are doing well and enjoying their life by the grace of Allah Almighty. Today I am here to participate in the SEC Season 9 Week 2 contest. Last week I was busy in Ramadan and then Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations but now I am back with fresh mind. The contest is organised by RECREATIVE STEEM and the topic is "The Music that Moves You".
What music makes you get up from your chair to sing or dance to it? |
---|
Music has made many people's fall in love which was not before in old eras. Music has become part of our daily life. There are thousands of new songs and music release every day in around the world in different languages. I personally don't listen to songs now but in the past I listen hundreds of songs in both Urdu and English languages.
From past few months, I am listening to Relaxing Music only because it makes me relax and I can focus on my work and can achieve my goals. I want to be honest that I mostly listen to Quran Pak Surahs as I am a Muslim and I don't prefer listening to songs.
But as I have to answer here about music, so I will add beautiful Relaxing music that I usually listen on YouTube. The music I listen are "3 Hours Relaxing Sleep Music + Crickets Sound" and "Always with me (Spirited Away OST)". These music makes me relax and help me focus on work.
Tell us what music they have dedicated to you and which one you have dedicated? Why? |
---|
I am currently single and not even in a boyfriend girlfriend relationship. But in the past when I was in relationship with my University mate who was senior in studies, I dedicated her a love song that was "Soch Na Sake". As I told it was my past and I now I most of the times listen to Relaxing Music and Quran Pak, so I send these to my friends including male and female friends.
My ex-girlfriend also send me a song but I don't remember now because it was many years before and I listen to it 3-4 times so I don't remember or just don't WANT to remember that 😁.
What kind of music do you listen to at home? |
---|
I usually listen to Relaxing music that I told above because it makes me relax in tense situations and makes me little happy. The music and Quran Pak Surahs I listen at home in my room are:
Music
- 3 Hours Relaxing Sleep Music + Crickets Sound
- Always with me - Spirited Away OST (Most Favorite)
- Late Night Melancholy - (EA7) 1 Hour Meditation
Quran Pak Surahs
- Surah Ar-Rahman
- Surah Al-Waqi'ah
- Surah Maryam
- Surah Ya-Sin
- Surah Al-Muzzammil
- Surah Al-Qadr
These are not only the Surahs I listen but I listen randomly. These are my favorite ones and I listen to them on YouTube and also recite them at home.
Activities you do listening to music. |
---|
I usually do work while listening to Music because it makes me relax and I can focus on work easily. Currently I am listening to Always with me - Spirited Away OST and writing this post for the Week 2 contest. Also sometimes I do use my mobile and scroll Facebook or Instagram while listening to music.
These relaxing music reminds of many things in the past and what I was trying to achieve but failed to achieve. It sometimes makes me sad and sometimes makes me relaxed. But still I listen to these relaxing music no matter if I feel sad. I run 3 hours to 8 hours of music and just listen to it while doing work or just sitting back on Sofa and listen by remembering past things or imagine things that could happen but never did.
If you could write a song, what topic would it deal with? |
---|
I think I will not write a song because I am not a song person but a music person. So I will either make music from piano or using guitar. One of my favorite have guitar but in my family it is not allowed so I can't use it. In my country, Hindi and English songs are preferred but I prefer to make relaxing music because in the world there are millions of listeners of it instead of songs.
So for this question, my answer is I will make a music instead of song writing either through Piano or Guitar or both. Also I like Flute but I think it is more hard than Piano. However, if I got chance I will play flute also.

Thank you brother 💕
Dedicating a love song, "Soch Na Sake," to your girlfriend back shows how much you value her and how you want her to tell you the truth. Indeed, music helps us pass messages to one another. Listening to music when relaxing will also help you feel more comfortable. I wish you success.
Thank you friend for the comment. Yes music helps us pass messages to our loved ones that we are in love with them or are sad without them. I wish also success in this and all other contests :)
