Learn with Steem Contest: Three things I've learned on steemit

in RECREATIVE STEEM3 years ago (edited)

Hi there. First off, Happy Easter to all Christian faithfuls and more strength to the Muslims in this Holy period of fast.
A number can't be put on the experiences I've gained here on steemit but as this contest's topic insists, I'll follow suit without further ado 😂.

Blog better.

A quick story about my blog life. I made my new year's resolution for the year 2022 to commence blogging and see how I go through all of it by the end of the year. Well I have always wanted to do something like that so it didn't seem like an imposition on me. I started with a free wordpress account on a movie review niche and honestly, I did great to my own capacity. But then #steemit came along through @paulyoung and it's been ten months of constant learning, relearning and unlearning to creating better posts.

Steemit has stepped up my bloggers experience. The "no plagiarism" aspect of blogging on here just brings out the originality of author's contents which is one great tool to help a post shine out amongst others.
One of the best tricks I learned to make my publications look professional is by adding some short codes before the content and after. For instance; adding <div class"text-justify"> at the very beginning of a post and below the post, justifies the publication making it look neat in a straight way.

Exposure to more crypto currencies.

Shout out to @cryptoacademy for holding classes on crypto currencies, giving assignments and rewarding it's students. It has the best feeling ever ❤. On my first encounter with the word steemit, I didn't know what it was. Never knew it was a crypto currency until Paul better explained to me. I only originally knew of bitcoin, ethereum and the likes but not steem token or SBD, haha. Well, I've explored more coins like Hive token, HBD, Afit coins.....just to mention a few 😉.

Leading a better financial life.

I have always been one independent lady right from being a little girl. I liked having my own money. It's not like I have anything to spend it on anyways, haha but the feeling of not having your own thing plus the freedom that comes with it is just nice. I also learned how to save more especially here on steemit by powering up always. It's like stacking up unused steem token for profit in the future. The idea also results to higher steemit reputation and better rewards on posts 😉.

@pricelesspresh, @ngoenyi and @patjewell, do well to participate and teach us too 😊❤. This is my entry.
