SEC S17W6: INFLUENCERS

A wonderful and lovely greetings to all of you hardworking members of this great community, it is a pleasure for me to be making my engagement post here, also I love very much this topic you have chosen, it is very original and I am honestly going to be having a lot of fun with it.

DO YOU CONSIDER BE AN INFLUENCER A PROFESSION? WOULD YOU RECOMMEND IT TO YOUR CHILDREN?

First of all before I answer the question of if i consider been an influencer as been a profession I would like to explain what it means to be an influencer or what being and influencer involves, being an influencer involves creating contents and consistently engaging with followers on social media platforms for the purpose of building a trusted and dedicated audience or fan base.

After successfully building a dedicated and trusted fan base or audience, online presence and credibility, influencers take advantage of this increased online presence and to credibility to advertise and promote and market products, services, or ideas.

Because of the world in which we live in today which is practically built on online and social media platforms, I am been forced to see the need to consider being an Influencer as being a proffesion because of a number of reasons, one being that it has the potential to generate consistent revenue.

To answer the other question of whether I would recommend it to my children well the answer to that question is NO, a hard capital N O

IS THERE AN INFLUENCER WITH WHOM YOU FEEL IDENTIFIED? WHY AND WHAT KIND OF CONTENT DO THEY SHARE?

Hmmm, another hard question, an influencer with whom I feel identified, well first of all I would like to share my thoughts and perceptions of majority of influencers on the different and various social media platforms we have available to us, the very term influencing is very irritative to me because I hate the idea of being influenced, meaning I pay no heed to whatever they have to say.

However, over the past three years i happen to stumble upon and come across the contents and videos of one certain man on most of the social media platforms like Ticktock, youtube and Instagram, and it is my belief that if he is actually regarded as an influencer he is not doing so for just the money or fame but rather he just wants to share his experience, ideas and simply speak his truth and that is why I watch is contents, I believe the name of this man is Jordan Peterson.

Jordan Peterson is a professor and clinical therapist and motivational speaker who addresses the issues of young men and how they can take the necessary steps to better their lives and how that is the main purpose of their, to get better and to play the victim and blame others and other things about their misfortune, to simply put his contents that I have seen are basically always motivational talks and God knows that I could do with a little more motivation, I don't know about the rest of you.

DO YOU THINK THE LIFE OF AN INFLUENCER IS A ROLE MODEL? WHY?

Well my answer to the question of whether the life of an influencer can serve as a role model is dependent on circumstances, if you are a normal average person who does not plan on becoming an influencer in the future and are just consuming their content, should not be taking the lifestyle of the influencers as a role model,

because most of their lifestyle is been endorsed and takes a lot of pain and effort geared towards achieving the goal of increased online presence and increased followers and audience, this might seem like an unrealistic goal for you the average person.

Then on the other if it is your dream to become a social media influencer then yes it is okay to set the life of an influencer who you respect and share your values as a role model, because doing this will serve to inspire and motivate you to pursue your dreams and passions and not give up because if your role model can do it then so can you.

Then can also provide you with advice and road map to avoid making some of the mistakes they made while on their road to achieve a dedicated fan base and credibility.

DO YOU HAVE TO HAVE SOME KIND OF TRAINING TO BE AN INFLUENCER OR CAN ANYONE BE ONE?

No, not necessarily one does not require a particular training so as to become an influencer, but if one really wants to be successful in a career of being a social media influencer, he or she will have to take advice from the people bigger than them in the industry of influencing.

Also with the woke people going on about looking for influencers to make an example of, one just starting might want learn how to not unnecessarily get in their cross hairs, so as not to end their careers before it even gets a chance to bloom.

To answer the second question, although one might not need any training, however not anyone can get into social media influencing because basically influencers needs to have certain skills and qualities or attributes, some of the basic are communication skills and charisma, some who doesn't know how to articulate his words properly or who is shy can not naturally become a social media influencer.
