I Celebrated Teachers Day By @Akareen

It's another contest for this week and I am happy that I join my fellow members to participate in this wonderful contest. This contest also give us an avenue to say thanks you to our teachers to what they have done for us. My appreciation goes to @astilem for organised this meaningful contest, I hope each and everyone of us we learn from each others.

Is Teacher's Day celebrated in your country, on what date, and is there anyone in your family who has this profession?

October 5 is the day we use to celebrate Teacher in our country (Nigeria), we celebrate them because we value them and we also appreciate all their effort for the knowledge they imbibe in us. My cousin is a Teacher, he does not joke with the profession, he told us that when he was in 15 year old he used to teach are sibling how to read and write and other basic things that they are not understand.

He like this profession so much that he used to teach students Agricultural science from JSS 1 to JSS 3. He would not pick up his phone call especially when he was with students because he does not joke with his profession.

How would you celebrate a teacher's day?

We do celebrate Teachers day by giving students holiday, every students in Nigeria will not going to school that day. They will stay in their parents house to learn what they have been taught in school after that they will go out with their parents to a nearby relaxation centre because all work no play make jack a poor boy.

Any teacher from your childhood that you can't forget, why?

The Teacher I can forget so easily is Mrs Ojibara, I like the woman so much because the woman do advise us like we are family. In fact that woman is one of a kind, the most things she would told us is to been a responsible children to your parents. Your parents work day and night to pay your school fees, don't be a bad child, be a good child that will cater or provide for your family.

The subject she used to teach us is business study, she would teach us the subject in detail and She would make sure that we understand the subject before she leave our class. I know one day I will meet her and thanks her for what she done for me.

Do you admire education professionals, and why?

I admire education a lot and I know the important because education is the backbone of the every country, we cannot do without education, learning is a continue process we will keep on learning.

Seeing children going to school make me happy because he or she we understand how life work and how he or she will be able to achieve their target goal. Education will improve the economic of the country and it will also strengthen unity of the country, in Nigeria millions of youths are now in school because they know the important of education. Nigeria consists of different tribes and we used English language as our official language so that we can communicate effectively through that without any problem.

To which professional in this area who is active on the platform would you dedicate a few words of congratulations, what would they be

Only God can reward you for what you did for us, we really appreciate all your effort for the knowledge you inculcate in us. As we all know that Teachers is the nation builder without them such country cannot grow, our Teachers will be so happy if they see us doing a good outsider the school that is all their effort are not been in vain.

In conclusion, Teachers day happen yearly, Federal government of Nigeria use to give us this public holiday in order to celebrate them for all their hard work and selfless service to this humanities. I invite @salifu, @andra4826 and @tafata to join me in this contest.
