Animals anatomy
Animals have unique structures in their bodies, which have resulted due to their evolution. Good examples of vertebrates are mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish, all of them have a bone structure, the backbone, that holds the body and protects the spinal cord. A good example would be mammals that have skeletal structures, muscles, and vital organs that are either designed for land, air, or water life. Birds possess bones that are light and hollow for ease of flying, while fish are streamlined in their bodies and have gills for breathing under water.
On the other hand, invertebrates, including insects, have no backbone, so they are made with exoskeletons or some specialized body structures. The structural body plan or construction of organisms differs significantly, the bodies of some are made of parts that a segmented nature, in others that soft flesh is the case. But one fact is common, every anatomy is adapted to fulfill the tasks of its survivability, feeding, and reproduction.
