The conditions of COVID-19 in my country

Greetings steemians. Special thanks to ahyar92 for this beautiful contest ,truly Covid-19 is a call for concern because it’s an epidemic. An epidemic is an outbreak of a disease that spreads quickly and affects many individuals at the same time. Covid-19 is an infectious disease that affects the respiratory system and is caused by the Corona virus of the family corona viridae. My country has registered 70,497 cases of corona presently ,77,429 Deaths and 1,189 Recovered: ,my government has taken strict measures to avoid the spread of corona virus in my country and a vaccine has been imported that is used to vaccinate people. The vaccine is mandatory for health personnels and is taken in 3 doses ,all health personnels have taken the vaccine.

The government has also made sure that when there is a social gathering everyone must put on a face mask.
In my school ,every student must wash their hands before getting into the school campus.

When we’re in class everyone puts on his face mask and there are administrators who move around to make sure everyone in class has a face mask on. As medical students , on international nurses day that just passed on the 12th of may ,our school provided face masks that we shared to our fellow students and also sensitized the population on COVID-19.
Below are the signs and symptoms of COVID-19

COVID-19 affects different people in different ways. Most infected people will develop mild to moderate illness and recover without hospitalization.

MOST COMMON SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS
-fever
-dry cough
-tiredness

SYMPTOMS WHICH ARE LESS COMMOn
-aches and pains
-sore throat
-diarrhoea
-conjunctivitis
-headache
-loss of taste or smell
-Arash on skin, or discolouration of fingers or toes

SERIOUSE SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS
difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
chest pain or pressure
loss of speech or movement

If you witness any of this signs and symptoms you should call your doctor ,before visiting a health facility make a phone call to your doctor to avoid spreading diseas or the communicable symptoms.

MEASURES TO PREVENT THE SPREAD Of COVID
-Wash your hands regularly with soap and water, or clean them with alcohol-based hand rub.
-Maintain at least 1 metre distance between you and people coughing or sneezing.
-Avoid touching your face.
-Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.
-Stay home if you feel unwell.
-Refrain from smoking and other activities that weaken the lungs.
-Practice physical distancing by avoiding unnecessary travel and staying away from large groups of people.
