My favorite vegetables
Vegetables are edible parts of plants that are being eaten by man as food. This consist of flowers, fruits, stems, leaves, roots, and seeds.
Why I like them
I like all these vegetables because they're not expensive, they add taste to the food, they are crunchy, yummy, easy to prepare,among all the contribute to the general well bing of a person.
These are my favorite vergetables ,their nutrients, and their benefits to health
Cabbage
It's a leafy vergetable,not expensive, easy to add to food, and is tasty. You can eat cabbage raw or cooked and add it to variety of food like salads, soups, stews and source.
Nutrients contents
It contain Calories,Protein,Fiber, and plenty vitamins and minerals like,Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Folate, Manganese, Vitamin B6, Calcium, Potassium, and Magnesium.
Cabbage also contain small amounts of vitamin A, iron and riboflavin.
Benefits of cabbage
• It helps the growth and function of the nervous system
• It helps in energy metabolism
• It has antioxidants that fight against heart disease, free radicals, cancers and loss of vision
• It protects against Inflammation and speed up healing process
• It protect against infection
• It protects the skin and makes it to be glamour
• It aids proper digestion
•It reduces blood pressure
• It helps in reducing cholesterol level
Carrot 🥕
It is a root vegetable that is highly nutritious and tasty it can be eaten raw or cook and also added to dishes.
Nutrients contents
It contain beta carotene, fiber, vitamin K1, potassium, and antioxidants, Calories, Water,
Protein, Carbs, Sugar, Fiber, Fat, Biotin, Vitamin A, Vitamin B6.
Benefits of carrot
• It helps in weight-loss
• It reduces cholesterol levels
• It improves eye health
• It lower the risk of cancer
• It boost the immunity
• It protect the heart and the liver
• It fight against cancer
•It helps in controlling blood sugar
• It protects the skin
Green peas
It's a seed vegetable highly proteinous, a good source of plant protein that's filling when eaten, it's good for people that doesn't take animal protein,it can be cooked and sale it like vegetable.
Nutrients contents
It contains antioxidant, carb, calories, fibre, protein,vitamin and minerals like
Vitamin C, Thiamine, Vitamin K,
Folate, Manganese, Vitamin A, Iron and Phosphorus.
Benefits of Green peas
• It protect against some chronic heart disease and cancer and Diabetes
• It helps in digestion
• It improve eye health
•It reduces the risk of high blood pressure
• It lower the risk of inflammation
Potatoes 🥔
Potatoes are root vegetables and edible plant that's eaten by people.
Nutrients contents
It contain Calories, Fat,Protein, Carbs, Fiber, Sodium, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, Potassium, Manganese, Magnesium, Phosphorous, Niacin, Folate.
Benefits of potatoes
• It is gluteen free
• It helps in reducing blood sugar
• It improve digestion
• It's filling.

Personally, I love eating carrots and I usually prefer my green peas in rice, noodles or spaghetti. Nicely written.
