Contest: Protected animals in my country. Nigeria

Animal population status (Lion in Nigeria)

Gorilla are those animals that is found in the South East of Nigeria. Cooperative hunters have a good explanation concerning the total number of gorilla in the east land and other animals like lion and giraffe.

One of the oldest and popular zoo in cross river State, Nigeria was a detach area where Lion are protected.

What causes habitat and environmental changes so that this animal is threatened with extinction or why this animal has become a typical animal of that region or country.

The typical changes in the environment can cause the limit in the animals. Well it's a bit story, but we promise to make it short and interesting.

In 1963, after Nigeria got independence. The South East was occupied with a lot of god's and people with curious minds, liably quest for the whole community of the South East to adore the Lion because they use it as a symbol of power and strength.
From this, the richest men who have many asset have to exchange their goods with lion , this process normally called trade by barter . This was how gorilla came into existence in the South Eastern Region which resulted at environmental changes.

Legal Status and Legal Protection

There are many legal status and legal protection in Animals. Like I'd earlier mentioned of a zoo in calabar, cross river State. It's a government owned and laws than governed is prevailed.

Some students who study zoology in the university, or any related courses are assigned to use the zoo for experiment by order.
I could recall man who happened to be unlucky for not keeping to the law before attending the zoo. He claims to be friendly with the animals in and go in to the zoo without a self protection.

He was sanctioned from being the controller of the animals because he hasn't done in accordance what the rules is all about.
