Swans are usually raised for beauty and meat. Beauty-hungry people keep swans. Keeping these ducks is very easy and low cost. They can gather all the food they need from pastures and natural sources. Swans mainly eat grass from pastures. Where there is abundant natural grass, their food consumption is very low.

They produce seasonal eggs. They are brave and have more energy in life. They are found in all countries of the world. Swan is one of the smartest birds in the world of birds. The relationship between male and female ducks of this species is deep.

It is very difficult to break their pair. They do not need much water to survive.Reared for breeding purposes for meat production. The rate of physical growth is rapid for the first eight weeks and then the rate of growth slows down. Ducks should be fed a balanced ration at an unrestricted rate from zero to eight weeks of age. That is, feed as much as a duck can eat.

Like other ducks, they are prone to duck plague, duck cholera and duck virus hepatitis. They can also be infected with parasites and suffer from vitamin and mineral deficiency diseases.
