SEC - S18W4 : Animal Welfare
Animals are also contributing to keep our environment healthy. There are many useful animals live around us and they need our kind attention to live a safe and healthy life. Today in this blog I'm going to talk about animal welfare.
But before starting let me say something about animals and their sacrifices for we human, animals can't protest like we human so we need to be more compassionate and kind towards the innocent animals.
What do you think about the use of animals for human benefit, such as in the fashion, entertainment and consumer products industries?
Well, the use of animals for human benefit is a good thing but ofcourse in a limit. Let me talk about the consumer products industry at first, we get milk, egg and meat from the animals which is the big source of protein but this is also true that killing animals randomly can be a sign of inhumanity and brutality.
Using animal skins and furs for fashion and entertainment industries can be considered cruelty to animals because it kills the animals. Animals need a safe zone where there they can live safely as wild animals live in the jungle and domestic animals live with us and gives us milk, eggs and a lot of things.
What do you think about the use of animal products in everyday life, such as leather, fur and ivory?
Well the use of animals products in everyday life, such as leather, fur and ivory should be banned permanently if we really want to show our real concern and kindness to the animals in this earth.
While our basic needs like food and clothing can be met with alternatives, indiscriminate killing of animals is a serious threat to our environment. We get almost everything from plants and trees, although trees have life too but it was created by Almighty for our welfare too. Animals are also created for our welfare but we abuse them more than we use them.
What can individuals do to contribute to protecting animals from exploitation?
The change can start with us so individually we can protest against animal abuse activities. We can switch to vegan lifestyle to save the life of innocent animals. We should be more health conscious because we know that serious diseases in animals can also cause diseases in humans.
Animal abuse is a inhuman activity and we shouldn't be involved in it. To be honest I'm a non vegetarian and I have crave for non-veg too but I never can see animal killing because my heart cry for them. I aim to be vegan in near future and it needs time to change a food habit that I practice since my childhood.
