Hello to all my Steemian friends,

Today I am here to Participate in a contest arranged by @f2i5 in the Steem of Animals community. I think the title is enough, I highly appreciate this contest concept and also try to follow this concept. I do believe that animals are good friends of human but human are continuously destroying their habitat, ecology, and life as a result might lead to their extinction. I think I can express some of my feelings considering this through this contest. So, let's start,

Do not capture animals for your amusement

Man is the best creature of all creation. The reason why man is the best creature of any creation is the intelligence of man. And by using this intelligence, man does various kinds of torture on other creatures. As a result of which various animals lost their habitat and eventually, they became extinct. Man uses animals for pleasure or entertainment. The biggest example of which is the various zoos of the world. In all the zoos around the world, the various animals seen are locked in iron cages. To see these animals, people come from far away and buy tickets to see the animals. I think it is inhumane to keep animals like this for the entertainment of people.

Conservation of any animal or bird outside its habitat is called ex-situ conservation. Animals in zoos are kept ex-situ, where the animals grow in an environment outside of their ecosystem. This disrupts their normal life. Think about how you would feel if you were kept in an iron cage like this, it would be very bad. Also, we don't know if the authorities are properly aware of their maintenance and food relations. But if these animals were free in the forest or their habitat, their growth and life would have been normal. But people keep these animals captive for their pleasure which is definitely inhumane and cruel.

So I would say, animals should be allowed to roam freely without being caged. Nowadays many people travel to safari parks where animals roam in their habitats and visitors come to see the animals caged inside the car. Although the animals are disturbed by this, this method is much better than keeping them in zoos.

Do not capture birds for your pleasure

I am a citizen of Bangladesh and most of the people in this country are fond of keeping birds. They buy different types of birds and keep them in cages at home. Basically, all these birds are brought as pets to make children happy. Among all living things, birds have wings to fly.

Birds are free, flying in the sky but some people keep those birds in cages for no reason. This act for the mere enjoyment of children is definitely a punishable offence. Also many guest birds fly to Bangladesh during winter. All those guest birds come from far away or from different countries to our country which gives new dimension of beauty to our nature. But these birds are also hunted by some people as a hobby. Some people enjoy eating the meat of these birds. I don't really know what kind of pleasure there is in aiming a gun at a flying bird, but many people do this low class thing. However, the government of Bangladesh has banned all guest bird hunting and as of now, jail and fines are in place for those caught. So I would say as a human don't cage birds for your and your child's pleasure.
