"SEC-S18/W2 | Lushka, you will be missed!"
“Dogs only want love, but cats demand worship.” Did you know that? If you don't have a pet, then you need one to understand what I mean.
Bruno and Lolly were such great friends, living with me and my family. My dad never liked pets, but my mother does, and so we had two: a dog and a cat. They were so lovely to behold. Bruno came into the family at a very tender age, while Lolly came in after 4 years of Bruno.
I didn't know they would both love each other so much because, at first, Bruno never liked Lolly. She felt the love we had for her would be transferred to Lolly, and that made her so angry each time she saw Lolly.
Lolly, on the other hand, wanted to create a relationship between them, but Bruno wouldn't let her come close. Bruno had a mini-house just for her, but when Lolly came in, we wanted Lolly to join Bruno, but Bruno would always fight Lolly, and this was bad, so my dad decided that Lolly stay inside the house with us.
It was a very difficult situation because Bruno started acting aggressive toward everyone. Her attitude turned to that of a human, and it was obvious she's jealous. When she came into the rooms, my brother would chase her out; this made her anger grow even worse.
Since Bruno takes her bath every two days, I decided to bathe Lolly with Bruno's bucket and sponge, but with a different soap. Bruno got upset afterward and refused to eat the food he had prepared for her. I had to rub her back and pet her so much before she ate her food. That day, I told myself that I already had a sibling without my knowledge.
The reunion
Lolly and Bruno finally became best friends! It happened on the day we noticed a rat inside the house but didn't know how to go about killing it so that it wouldn't destroy things for us. My brother suggested that we try using the dog and the cat to chase the rat.
My mom called on Bruno immediately to go into the house and search for a rat. Just as Bruno was going in, she met Lolly by the doorside, and both stood stirring at each other, and immediately, the rat passed in another direction.
Bruno rushed to catch the rat but couldn't, and Lolly, being the little one, managed to enter a small space in search of the rat, but the rat unfortunately ran towards Bruno, and she caught the rat with her legs.
It was a beautiful activity for these two lovely creatures. Bruno was so happy that evening; she even played with Lolly, and Lolly forgot she would come in at night and slept at Bruno's. This was where their union began. They were the best of friends, watching each other back.
Lolly was so careful to the point she noticed a snake that came to attack them one night, and Bruno, being a smart dog, started barking for help. It was so cool and lovely to see them happy. Each time I want to bathe them, I use a chain; otherwise, they would play and get you frustrated. I enjoyed their union so much until the tragedy took place.
The Tragedy
Bruno didn't see this coming; in fact, no one did. It happened so fast one morning when Bruno left the compound. No one noticed her absence until it was time for food. We searched around the house and never found Bruno. We shouted and shouted, but Bruno didn't come out.
After about an hour, a young man (our neighbor) came to announce the death of Bruno. He said a car had hit her. I ran out immediately to the road to check if it was true, and yes, it was true.
I cried like a baby while my brothers came and carried Bruno's body to Burry. It was a tragic day for my family. Lolly was so quiet all through; she was so cold that I had to cuddle her at night.
Everyone felt Bruno's impact when she left. We all missed her so much. She was an adorable dog that behaved more like a human. She was so jealous, and that was the thing I loved and missed about her.
Lolly fell ill after a few weeks, and that led to her death. I missed her so much because my room and body were her place of comfort during her mourning period. We bonded together like bread and butter, and her illness made me skip school for a few days because I needed to watch her.
Bruno and Lolly were such two beautiful and lovely animals that gave us peace of mind. They never troubled us, but they brought joy to our home. Talking about them leaves a tear in my eyes. I miss them so much!

Upvoted. Thank You for sending some of your rewards to @null. It will make Steem stronger.
Saludos amiga!
Thanks a lot

You mentioned about Broon and Lolly and so on, one is a dog and the other is a cat and since they are here you love them very much and no doubt it means a lot to your mother. He liked the dog and he didn't like the cat and later they slowly became friends and established a relationship between them and now they are living like a good friend. They have become very good friends. Other than that you have chosen the best post and your post is admirable
Your story is very sad and I felt very sad that I saw you in such pain and suffering. You really went through a lot of pain and your story was very good. She used to hate the other and used to get angry and became such good friends that she could not bear the separation. It is just like human beings. We will miss him forever and ever, just as the animals we keep at home are loved so much that they are like members of our family. And then when one of them goes away, then we are as close as it is by going away from a loved one. I can understand your pain and I am glad that you have moved forward and you people have started working again , you will see progress.
