Animals are not pets; rather, they become members of the family. They are friendly, give emotional comforts and lower levels of stress. Such dogs can teach us such crucial things like empathy, responsibility, and unconditional love. The dogs, cats, birds, fishes, and even some types of reptiles can be suitable as pets which have got their specific demands for keeping in the houses. Man’s best friend, as dogs are generally known by their loyal nature. On the other hand, cats are independent but loving creatures whereas birds are colorful and exciting. Although fish and reptiles may not be as engaging to interact with, they sure are interesting to look at! Nevertheless, having a pet is a big deal. This includes feeding, sheltering, health care provision, and nurturing. It is vital to select the right kind of a pet for you. Pets may serve as a great source of entertainment in our homes. We should give love, affection and best treatment we can afford for them.

What is your favorite pet? Give your reasons

I love dogs and particularly the Akita ones. The Akita is one of the biggest dog breeds which developed in Japan. They are loyal, courageous, independent, aggressive, and majestically impressive than just a number of breeds. At the moment, I do not own an Akita, but I really hope that I can have one at my house soon. According to History references, Akita's acted as guards and companions of the Japanese hunters called Matagi in their quests for killing bears. Dog-fighting, which was common in Japan during the 1600s, they too were part of it. In this regard, the Akita was utilized as a companion for samurai from 1500 to 1800. There are two separate varieties of Akita: the pure Japanese strain is known as Akita Inu or Akita Ken while the bigger-mixed variety is popularly referred to as the “American Akita”.

Though I cannot show you an actual photo of my future pet, I can tell you that Akita is stunning, and yes, everybody will love it. Akita's feature the well-adapted double, thick coat which makes them perfect for the country’s harsh climatic condition. It can be white, brown, brindle, even pinto colour. They have deep-set eyes that make them look dignified. They are quite large, their heads take a triangular form and they have a small eye with short ears called “prick ears.” They also have strong bodies and long tails that curl over their backs.

Finally, when the time comes carrying my pet Akita home, I will put its safety first by making sure the dog is comfortable and safe during the trip. With regards to preparations, I only treat the pet with the very best. I intend to create a large, relaxed zone for my Akita. It must be my entire house and its surroundings actually I’m not interested to provide a cage or nest for my dog because they also need freedom, so the dog should go outdoors. It will undergo regular grooming sessions so as to restore its beautiful coat and improve its overall health. A balanced diet with proper proportions of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats is an important part. I will take my Akita for a regular vet check-up to keep it in the best health condition possible and also give proper vaccinations.

Owning an Akita reflects not only the symbolism of Japanese culture and history, but also the love for the pet. Having an Akita, its beyond getting a dog, its all about having a new kid or a guest in your family. Our love for pets, in return, stems from the fact that it is their loyalty and commitment that has made them worthy of receiving such kindness from us.
