Animal Welfare

What do you think about the use of animals for human benefit, such as in the fashion, entertainment and consumer products industries?

Let's investigate the less glamorous side of the fur and leather industries by going behind the scenes. The process of creating these premium goods is far from glamorous, despite the fact that they are linked with high-end fashion. We frequently forget this when we get into the grim reality of producing fur and skin. The real story of fur manufacture Luxurious coats and exotic accessories might come to mind when you think of fur. However, the opulent image that fur manufacture presents is not at all accurate to reality.

Animal usage in science has long been the focus of contentious discussion and ethical examination. On the one hand, the creation of medications and therapies that save lives is greatly aided by animal testing. However, it calls into question the propriety of exploiting sentient creatures for human gain. Animal research, according to its supporters, is crucial to increasing human understanding and enhancing human health.

An early aspect of human civilization has been the use of animals for entertainment. Animals are abused for our amusement and financial gain in everything from theme parks and television programmes to circuses and zoos. Even while many viewers may find joy and thrill in the usage of animals for entertainment, it is crucial that we take the ethical ramifications of such actions into account. Since animals are sentient entities, they ought to be treated with decency and respect.

What do you think about the use of animal products in everyday life, such as leather, fur and ivory?

Furs, animal skins, teeth and ivory are sold heavily in the market, so prices are always a risk. We cannot assume that the use of furs or tusks has anything to do with the death of animals. This is not an ethical issue, it is a legal one. In order to wear fur, animals must be killed because the fur is taken from the whole skin of the animal used in coats, jackets, boots, hats, etc.

As of today, if you see a tiger skin rug, you might. It is definitely illegal. You can report this person. When animals such as sheep or alpaca are shaved, their hair is woven into fibers, made into fabric, and the hair grows back. However, there are many people who think that killing for fur is just as bad as killing animals because they are often stabbed. And they were handled with great force to cut them, which was terrifying. In the interest of wildlife, it should be announced to be illegal to use fur to make coats, blankets or carpets.

What can individuals do to contribute to protecting animals from exploitation?

As an individual we should see animals as living beings and for their welfare we should also avoid wearing clothes made from animal skins. Similarly, wools, carpets etc. which are made from too much fur should also be avoided. Art objects made of ivory and belts made of snakeskin should be avoided. If this is avoided, animal cruelty will automatically be avoided when their demand decreases.

Whatever products are made from animals, even though they give us many benefits and we enjoy them, we must remember that many animals are killed or tortured behind them.

I would like to invite @mdkamran99, @enamul17 , @jimiaera02, to take part in this contest.

💚THANK YOU 💚

Hello dear friend, @jyoti-thelight

  • You have said very well that now a days costumed animals are not seen much but they are seen in various entertainment places especially in parks. It can also be observed that different types of medicine are produced through a specific process through different parts of their body. Also, different types of products are made from their body skin or teeth to use. We come across many products that we use in our lifestyle. Very nice friend you have presented your post in a very nice way from where I got to know a lot of valuable information. I hope you wish the best of luck in this competition so I am praying for you from the bottom of my heart.

Best regards from @robin42

Saludos.

Salam respected @jyoti-thelight!

You do an excellent job of showing moral issues raised by the use of animals in entertainment and fashion. To promote animal welfare it is necessary that people are aware of these difficulties. Wish you lots of success. Huge love 💕 and respect for you
