Everyone including habitats needs rest, peace of mind, and freedom. Disturbing habitats are not good because they also deserve rest as everyone needs to rest.
Habitats aren't created to do the work of human beings, but they're created to be under the care of human beings. In this post I have written on the topic: "Say no to animal abuse"
1️⃣ What does the expression "Don't disturb our habitat" mean?
The expression "Don't disturb our habitat" means letting our habitat rest, having peace of mind be happy with the way they are. As we need rest it is the same way our habitat needs rest also as they are living things.
Don't disturb our habitat means a lot which is an expression that means don't maltreat or put our habitat into hardship. Instead of stressing out habitat take good care of them, provide for them, and always look out for them.

I don't know how some people derive joy in abusing animals they are supposed to take good care of. Like the man in my former compound who always abuses his dog, treating the dog like trash.
In my compound, I have seen a man who has a dog that he usually treats like trash. This man am talking about, would not think of providing food for his dog, but would always punish the dog for going out to hunt for food. I do see how the man would carry a big stick and be weeping his dog.
The dog was not properly taken care of, and the only way that the dog could feed was from water neighbors had to him or from the waste products that people have disposed of. Any small wrong thing that the man-dog will do, he will just use annoyance and kick/push his dog away.
3️⃣ If you had to create a slogan to stop violence against animals, what would it be?
If I had to create a slogan to stop violence against animals it would be "Our Animals Also Need A Better Life". My slogan would be simple and direct information which would let people know that animals also deserve better life like every human being.
Some people are careless when it comes to taking care of animals and sometimes I would say that it is preferable not to have animals than to have an animal you will not take good care of. Domestic animals are dependent on us humans, and we need to take good care of them.

I have seen the same instances you cited here, where a dog owner lacks care for his dog and still punish his pet for stealing and killing fowls around the premise. We must be kind to animals, some of the things this innocent animal do is because we subjected them to suffering. If you can't take care of an animals don't keep them domesticated, let them live freely. Goodluck @josepha
