Laziness: I had only taken this animal in photographs, however it was confiscated from the indigenous people who sold it illegally.

Sloths are of great ecological importance since they constitute the largest proportion of the biomass of the tropical humid forest. Its behavior when defecating makes it an important part of the nutrient cycle, since once a week it comes down from the tree to urinate and defecate.

Even in the most rural areas the dogs are well fed and have owners.

I was about to adopt this beautiful little dog, but he got sick and died.

Obviously dogs are kings in people's hearts. In my neighborhood most people have at least one and take very good care of them.

Two very different realities: a flag macaw in a cage and 2 free. In particular, I would never have a small animal locked up.

They are called that because of their tricolor feathers, it is like the flag of Venezuela, my country.

This free-ranging macaw is called "ara chloroptera" for its green and yellow colors and smaller size.

This pigeon is called "potoca", they are everywhere and people do not bother them or hunt them, they feed on food scraps, corn, rice.

This snake, colloquially called "tragavenada", is very common. It is not poisonous, it is constrictive. In the photo, one was rescued and given a live chick to feed before releasing it into its natural habitat, near water, wet areas.

I don't know if you can see it but this is a "carob" a mini iguana that personally fascinates me, they eat flies and other insects.

This must have been big because I was on the second floor of a building.

Chickens: Although chickens and hens are part of our basic basket, there are people who raise them as pets, I think they are the funniest and I would love to have some... If I didn't have cats.

We are in the rainy season and therefore cat mating season. These 2 babies showed up at my house still with the umbilical cord in place. Efforts to find his mother were unsuccessful.
