Steemit Engagement Challenge S11-W3 | My favorite Fable"

Fables have set a special place in literature and covey moral lessons through it's imaginary characters.The fable that I love the most is The honest woodcutter.The story start with a woodcutter he was very poor but hardworking.

Everyday he went to jungle to cut woods but one day his Axe fell into river he was very sad.suddenly a fairy came out of water with gold axe but the woodcutter refuse to take it, then the water fairy again went into water and came out of water with silver axe but this time also woodcutter refuse to take silver axe. At last water fairy offers him axe made of wood the woodcutter became happy and accepted wood axe.water fairy also gifted him gold and silver axes because she was impressed with his honesty.

In real life I love this story because we know that Allah Almighty give rewards to those who are honest with them selves and with others.

Yes,the fairly tale teaches us the importance and out comes of honesty.It teaches us how to be thankful to Allah Almighty,AMD how Allah Almighty gives us reward when we are truthful and honest.It also gives us the lesson to speak truth whatever the circumstances are.

This fairy tale has strong influence in my life, whenever I read this story I remind myself that be happy with what Allah has given me and don't be sad for what Allah has not given me.I always try to be thankful to Allah Almighty and I believe that the reward of honesty and truth is always magical and great.

I didn't remember the exact number but the fables that I heard from my mother and father are:

• the hare and the tortoise
• thirsty crow
• greedy dog
• grapes are sour
• the fox and the crow
• animal farm
• Gulliver's travel
• the dove and ant

For now when you have become the father or mother of your children, or if you are a sister and aunt, do you tell them the fables? Which Fables do you often tell and why?

Fables are really helpful in teaching children good lessons based on example.Yes,in future when I'll become mother I'll definetly tell them fables.Children like fictional stories and cartoons so through fables we can convey our message to them.Fables have great moral lessons through that children can learn the true values and lessons of life and help them in becoming better version of themselves.
