||Contest|| "Project Animal Rescue" Giving help to animals

Animals are always of benefit to man's environment, they play key role to making sure the environment will be safe for humans. Many animals have their different importance in the environment, let's look at dogs they serve as securities to human, they make alarm to any form of danger. Goat excrete serve as manure for our crops, it really helps the crop grow well.

Animals if taken good care of tend to become loyal to their owners, we can relate in the case of dogs, they give premium respect and loyalty to their owners.

	A chicken

Animals tend to reciprocate actions, and they also have memories. I feed our chicken, hen and the cock every morning while I'm washing our plates, I don't pursue them at any time, this happened for months and they're very used to it that I when I take my hands close to them they don't run away, but these same chicken run away from our neighbors anything she comes out with her broom.

I love animals so much and I do want to look at them as humans sometimes, try to know what their emotions would be like, and not hurt them. Dogs are very emotional animals, they feel comfortable with people that are good with them, I am very comfortable with dogs and I am always happy when I become a friend to a new dog. My attitude towards dogs is just so peaceful.

Have you done anything to protect/ adopted/ rescued/ animals?

I have really been involved in many activities to protect and also adopt an animal. Chickens always face many challenges in their life race, they have enemies and they're mainly flying animals in the sky. When they give birth to their chicks, they roam about with them guiding them on where to enter and search for food too, but the enemy is always hiding somewhere and watching, they are very experienced and skillful in this. Hawk has been a major threat to the livelihood of chickens and the mother Hen cannot protect it's whole chicken because they wander to and fro without direction when trouble comes, and irrespective of the mother's intervention it seems to be of no use.

These hawks are also afraid of humans, whenever I spot it roaming about in search for chickens, we scare them aware. We had a very close catch recently, the chick was already scared and unconscious but we intervened immediately, because we were already outside, this made the hawk turn away. We rescued this hopelessly chicken and delivered it safely to the hands of it's mother.

Another event which we encountered was, when our mother Hen was killed, I think by a wild dog because we found feathers all over the surrounding, maybe it was fighting for its life. We found these young chicks stranded, we took them from that spot an adopted them in. We built a little house using a carton for them, which my dad sponsored for the feed. We checked on them every hour, it was a thing of joy for us to watch little chickens grow up. They grew up so fast and big because of the feed and they didn't stress themselves much in walking around, since they were housed in a carton

These chickens were so used to the kind treatment. As time went by they grew up and were allowed to roam outside, but their ears were always at home, anytime they hear any sound of scraping they would report.

Animals as re very cool to keep, and adopt.
