Kahfi and the Cat at Oma's House
Last week my family and I visited my children's oma's (my wife's mother) house, because it's been a long time since we visited there, usually on the weekends we visit children's grandma's (my mother) house. Children are always happy when playing at grandma's or oma's house, because there they are treated like kings, never scolded 😁.
There was one moment when Kahfi was playing with his female cousin at my grandmother's house, he heard the sound of a cat outside that was visible from behind the iron door. As usual, when a cat meows, it means it is hungry and asking for food.
I told Kahfi to give the cat some of the snacks he had, and it turned out that the cat liked the snacks and Kahfi kept watching the cat, because he really liked cats, contrary to his brother.
After the cat finished eating, Kahfi began to approach it again and slowly tried to touch it. The cat's response was very spoiled, as if they had known for a long time, without hesitation Kahfi brought the cat into oma's house.
Kahfi invited her female cousin to play with the cat too, she petted it while saying "Sayang Kucing", I smiled at her. Kahfi didn't want to let go of the cat, he hugged it tightly while lying down and watching television.
The cat seemed to just comply with Kahfi's wishes, has there been chemistry between them?
By the way, in the perspective of Islam, it is explained that cats are special animals because they became the favorite of the Prophet Muhammad SAW.
There is a story about the Prophet Muhammad SAW who had an Anggora cat named Muezza. The Prophet loved his cat so much. One day the Prophet was about to go to prayer and prepare and dress.
However, the Prophet found Muezza sleeping on his robe. Instead of waking Muezza's sleep, the Prophet Muhammad chose to cut off part of his robe, so that Muezza would not be disturbed and continue to sleep.
After returning from prayer, Muezza woke up and prepared to greet the Prophet as a manifestation of the feelings she experienced and prostrate herself to him, so the Prophet responded by stroking her body three times.
This story is an inspiration on how to love animals, hopefully it can be a good example for all of us to be able to treat animals well.
Thanks so much sir @radjasalman
