Masha Allah how beautiful you have started your post I am pretty impressed its Right cats were liked by Holy Prophet PBUH and we should mercy on them they are good creature and loveable.
As you mentioned you didn't like cats in start and you give them meat and fish part at shop when they called repeat meow meow.
Its shows you are caring and concern and also have very soft corner for the pets and we should have it.
