Participating in this contests this weekend is one of the best things, l have done because this is an interesting topic which safe the live of our animals especially our lovely pet.

Humans like fireworks and animals dislike it.People around the world often use fireworks during year end holidays such as New year's Eve and they believe that fireworks are a way to celebrate the old year and the start of a new one. They represent a fresh start and a chance to start over. Fireworks are a symbol of hope and joy and also a great way to bring people together and enjoy a night of celebration.

Welcome to my view on the use of fireworks and thier effect on animals, using guidelines question.

Although, l really like to see the spark of fireworks in the sky, l don't use them, they have bad smell that is irritating to me as such I do not personally buy, used, nor dash-out fireworks to people during the year end holiday.

These are my few reasons for this. First, l am concerned about the safety of those around me both animals and human. Fireworks can be dangerous if not handled properly,and l do not want to risk anyone getting hurt.

Secondly, l am concerned about the environment impact of fireworks. They produce a lot of noise pollution and the chemicals used in them can be harmful to the environment.
Thirdly, l do not believe that the pleasure that fireworks provide is worth the potential harm they cause. Instead of using fireworks l would rather celebrate in a way that is safer and more environmentally friendly.

My dog barking restlessly

Yes, l also have notice that animals often behave differently when there is a lot of noise, such as when fireworks are being set up or trumpet are played.

For example, dogs barks or howls, cat runs and hide and bird files away. This is because the noise can startle and scare animals, causing them to react in different ways.lt is important to be aware of how animals may react to noise and take steps to help them feel safe and comfortable in the environment.

Sincerely, l always noticed their behaviours expecially from dog and cat, they always became nervous and restless. My recent experience is what happened this week Monday evening, which was 25 December 2023. Children in our environment where throwing knockout and some were blowing trumpet, my dog barked profusely and restlessly. Luna my cat ran inside the house and hide at the back of our refrigerator shaking in fear. Luna stayed there for more than two hours without coming out. This was a terrible incident caused by undue sound of the knockout and trumpet causing animals fear.

Yes, fireworks can have negative effect on animals,both in short term and the long term.ln short term, fireworks can cause animals to become stressed up,frightened and misbehaviour.

It also cause physical damage such as hearing loss or burns.Most them run away, some do return but 50 % of the lost their way home.

In the long term, fireworks can have a lasting impact on animals, causing them to become fearful of loud noises or suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).This can make them more difficult to manage and be trained so that they can perform their duties in terms of security and all of that.

"Fireworks are not worth the suffering they cause to animals. Every year, many animals suffer from the stress and anxiety causes by fireworks. Dogs in particular are very sensitive to loud noises and the sound of fireworks can cause them to become fearful and stressed. This can lead to behavioral problems such as destructive chewing, self-harm, and even running away from the environ. ln some cases, animals have even been known to die from a heart attack or stroke as a result of the stress caused by fireworks. For the sake of our furry friends, please say no to fireworks this year".
