Animal Contest: Tell us about animal transport
Hello friends from home and abroad, Warm regards to everyone. Thank God it's Thursday (TGIT), and it's a pleasure to welcome you all to my post. Today I'll be writing based on the contest organized in the Steem of Animals community, which talks about animal transport as given by @solaymann.
Is animal transport available in your area?
In my area animal transport is not available. We do not have animals like horses, donkeys, or camels that are used for transportation. The only means of transportation in my area are motor, motorcycle, and bicycle that is available. However, those living in the northern part of Nigeria are into animal transport.
Do you think animal transportation is legal or illegal?
Animal transportation is not something that start today or some months or years ago, but it is one of the oldest means of transportation that was used by our Father I can say that such type of transportation has been in existence for more than 3000 years now. However, animal transportation is cheaper, but more delayed than the use of motor, motorcycle, or plane.
To this, I think animal transportation is legal because some of these animals that are used for transportation are animals that can not be slaughtered and sold in the market for anyone to buy and eat since their purpose is to transport humans and goods from one place to another which I think is legal.
Do you think the use of animals as transport should be stopped? Why?
No, I don't think the use of animals for transport should be stopped because the animals that are used for transport are animals that our grandparents were using in their own time before the invention of planes, motors, motorcycles, and bicycles.
There are some places where motors or motorcycles can not enter that animals like horses, donkeys, and camels can enter. However, besides that animal transportation is less expensive because they do not need fuel or diesel before their can move.
Tell about transportation that can be used instead of animals.
We already have modern means of transportation such as planes, motors, motorcycles, ships, and several others that are more convenient and faster than the use of animals for transportation which should be used instead of animals.

Congratulations on participating in the beloved animal transport competition. You are right that animal transport is not new it was the only form of transport in ancient times. But in the present era of fourth industrial revolution, this animal transport is very time consuming. Engine powered vehicles can do that very easily and quickly. I think it can be considered a tradition now.
