Homeworld. Now that is a blast from the past. I remember picking that game up without paying attention to the min sys req's and my PC at the time wasn't powerful enough and that kind of ruined the experience since I was probably getting like 4 FPS or something like that.

This game isn't really like Homeworld though because you don't command a fleet of ships primarily for combat. There is some combat in the Long Journey Home but it is so basic that it is just stupid and mostly you just try to avoid it.

As for it being like Journey, I would say maybe the music but not anything else about it.
