Part 6
In the fall they arrive in Jackson County and Joel sees his brother Tommy after several years, Tommy tells him that he has gathered a group of survivors, that he has a girlfriend, named Maria,

and that they all try to live in the dam, Joel is impressed, but privately begins to tell him about Ellie, that she is immune and that Tommy needs to take her to the Fireflies,
he does not believe him at all and they are ambushed by hunters, they survive, but in the shock, Ellie escapes, Joel and Tommy goes after her to find her, there we see why Ellie ran away, she doesn't want to go with Tommy, she wants to go with Joel, they have a quite tense and strong discussion, in fact, it is one of the most emotional scenes of the whole game.

y que todos intentan vivir en la represa, Joel está impresionado, pero en privado comienza a contarle sobre Ellie, que ella es inmune y que Tommy necesita llevarla a las luciérnagas,
él no le cree para nada y son emboscados por cazadores, sobreviven, pero en el shock, Ellie se escapa, Joel y Tommy la persiguen para encontrarla, ahí vemos por qué Ellie se escapó, ella no quiere irse con Tommy, ella quiere ir con Joel, tienen una discusión bastante tensa y fuerte, de hecho, es una de las escenas más emotivas de todo el juego.
