I'm only going to take that project seriously when I see payments working. Otherwise I'm afraid they're just going to exitscam or generally fail due to lack of network programming knowledge.
The team behind the project already run the site https://satoshis.games/. Here, you can earn and withdraw Bitcoin through the lightning network by playing games like Pacman. So that's a good sign 👍⚡
That does give it a lot more credibility, but the part that is still worrying is the actual online networking a battle royale game. That is a much greater feat than online Pacman thanks to a lot of technicalities necessary for fluid gameplay.
Regardless, it is now on my watchlist thanks to you telling me about satoshis.games.
