[Mobile Game] Hero Rescue Review: Clear a path and save your princess! (Android & iOS)

Hero Rescue is a mobile puzzle game developed by Vietnam-based game studio "Super Game," where the players pull sticks and clear a path for the hero to reach riches and save his princess while avoiding dangerous traps and vicious monsters.

Ever watched those game ads where players remove barricades to allow game characters navigate around monsters and traps only to meet an epic FAIL message? Ever went “Wow I could do better than that” and installed the game, only to realize that that’s not the main content? Well here’s the game to relieve your disappointment!

The game has five different modes each with a different type of challenge:

1. The game’s main content: remove barricades and clear a path to help the hero defeat monsters, find treasure, and save the princess.
2. Treasure Mode: Remove barricades to allow gold and riches fill the treasure chest for our hero
3. Block Mode: Tap to destroy blocks and let the monsters fall to their doom
4. Tower Mode: Tap to destroy blocks so the treasure chest on top of the tower lands in front of the hero
5. Sword Mode: Remove barricades and clear a path to the hero’s sword so that our hero can fight off the monsters and escape

Pros

• Free to play is possible with option to pay for “no ads”
• Easy to play: Pull sticks to make way!
• 5 different modes of puzzles with a total of over 500 levels in total.

Cons

• The “no ad” option is hard to find: Appears randomly after completing a level
• Game says new levels every week - yet to be updated
• Minor bugs where some levels have to be repeated to be cleared.
