Thediarygame for 26/03/2024: Treated malaria, played video games and went snail hunting

Hello diary it is a pleasure to be able to share my day with you again. Yesterday was amazing and I am sorry I could not tell you all about it. This is because there was no power to charge my phone's battery last night. And I was down with malaria which made me unable to go outside and charge my phone. But that would not stop me from sharing my day with you my dear.

Morning

I had not really slept because I spent the whole of Monday reading and watching videos online. So by 8am I was not feeling so well, I thought it was due to being awake the whole night and that a little rest would do the magic but this was not to be so.

I made custard and ate it with okpa. By this time my mouth was bitter and I was having headache. I knew instantly that this was malaria.

I decided to sleep a little and see if my health would improve.

Afternoon

By noon when I woke up the situation of my health had not made any significant improvement. I called my mom(@steemqueen) and told her and she asked me to buy Lonart. I sent a friend @adachukwu to buy it at a newly opened pharmacy for me.
While she went I warmed the rice I cooked the previous day and ate.

She came back and told me the price was ₦3100. I was shocked, something I bought for less a month ago!!! I got the money from her and went to where I bought it before and it was ₦2600. I got the drugs and on my way back home I got a bottle of smoov drink. I used the drink to take drugs because my mouth was very bitter.

Evening

By 5pm my battery was low and I decided to go to the newly opened game centre in my street to charge my phone. While I was there I watched as the played PlayStation 4. The game was a soccer game and this is something I love to play. The only reason I do not play it here is because the price per game is rather expensive, I'd rather buy my own and play at home.

But today I decided to play one hand which is about ₦200. I lost the game by 5:4.

I still had money to play more but I refused to. Instead I took the money outside and bought pork meat. Which is more economical that playing video games.

It was already getting late and I was not feeling to well so I decided to go back home. Unfortunately, rain started falling heavily. I waited for about 30minutes for the rain to come down and when it did I ran back home.

Then around 8pm, I decided to go snail hunting. Snails are nocturnal creatures who come out at night especially after heavy rainfall. I was able to catch a few of them when someone told me the usually come out much by 11pm. I went home and planned to come back by 11 pm but sleep took me away.
