Thediarygame for 22/03/2024: Went Shopping(Video included)

Yesterday was a wonderful day for me as I got to experience a lot. I had the pleasure of going shopping with a fellow steemian who wanted to cook and use the food for a contest here on steemit. Read all about it and watch the video to enjoy it live and in HD.

Morning

I woke up around 8am and did some cleaning both personal and for the house I stay. I thereafter went to meet my next door neighbour and collected her ₦2,000 because she wanted transfer so I transferred to her and collected cash. I needed to go to the market to buy things for breakfast, I dressed up and went to the market.

What I had in mind to buy was yam and things to prepare porridge with. The yam was too expensive I had to bargain with the seller and we finally arrived at ₦1300.
I also bought vegetable leaf, crayfish, pepper, onions and palm oil.
I got back and my friend prepared the meal, when she was done I and my roommate ate it and I was so filled up that I immediately slept. I have not slept that long in a very while because I slept from 12 to 5pm in the evening, I guess it's because of how heavy the meal was.

Evening

In the evening I need to charge my phone so I went out for a stroll. I then found this restaurant that had put on their generator and I went in to charge there. Because you must buy something so that no one harasses you, I had to buy pork meat for ₦200. It was so delicious that I wanted to buy more but my wallet said no more.

I stayed there till 10pm when electricity supply was restored in our area. I left the place and headed home, as soon as I reached I had to join a seminar lasted till past 12am. After the seminar I came here to tell my diary all about my day.
