Hello fellow Steemians. Hope we’re doing just great today. Things are indescribable if I must say, but we give all thanks to God. For those of us in Nigeria, I’m sure we can relate. I want to say thank you to @ngoenyi for another week of a beautiful contest to look back on how our days went.

Again, I’m back on the medium after a couple of weeks, and I’m excited to be here in one of my favourite communities to make a post. My day went pretty well. Since I’m done with my exam, I take extra time to cool my head down. But today being Sunday, I got up a bit early to prepare for church.

Morning

After my morning prayers, I moved to begin with the day’s chores. This is one thing that I have come to accept as not just a responsibility, but as a necessity.

Once I was through with, I began to prepare for church which was set to start at 7am. If there’s one part of the service I don’t usually joke with, it’s the worship part. Every section in the service shouldn’t be taken lightly, but personally, I feel like there’s more to worship than singing and raising hands.

The pastor talked about: Victory in the Blood of Jesus. He went into details to tell us we don’t have to work for perfection, or acceptance to God. But that we can only walk in the victory Jesus has given the church all He created. It was a powerful and encouraging for many souls.

It also turned out that our communion service was immediately after the sermon, so we partook in the table of fellowship. Soon, we were getting ready to give way for those who came in for the second service.

Afternoon

It was over in two hours, and I was on the road to the store. We needed to pick a few things for the house, so we thought it wise to get it at once that coming back later. In the mall there, we went straight to the market square to get stuff.

Though things are expensive, we always think it’s better to get things from a wel facilitated, clean place. A lot of people tend to come to this store to get things, so stock will be in and out in a few days, and thatmakes it healthier and encouraging for customers as you get to buy the new ones often.

Our basket was almost filled with provisions, green tea, bread, biscuits, golden morn, quaker oats, cashews, and a few other things.

Once we got home, I headed straight to the kitchen to make plantain porridge for the family. I was famished, and I couldn’t withstand it any longer. In addition, I made a dessert of fresh onions and tomatoes to snack on.

This actually has its own nutrition, so anytime we have extra time, we take extra care of the body.

Evening

A few hours later, I delved into practising for my podcast. I have podcast, and I’ve been rehearsing to publish my next episode, which will be soon. My phone battery was low, so I suspended it to writing with my laptop while I charged my phone.

The day was coming to an end, and as such, I needed to bring my body to get some rest as well.

Before going to bed, I had to fix something light for those that cared to eat before signing out for the day, so I made just pap, and we had it with a few slices of bread.
