Contest: What is census? Is census possible in steemit?
Hello dear kids and kids lovers, I believe we are all doing well 👍 today I want to specially welcome you to my blog. And for this day I will be participating in this amazing contest organized by ma'am @udyliciouz on the theme “What is census? Is census possible in steemit?”
How would you define census.
Based on my understanding census is the process of knowing the population of people in a particular country as a whole. Or it is a governmental act of counting an average number of people which includes both the economic and social information in the region or a particular country.
Have you ever been counted? When? Explain your experience if any.
Ooh yes, I have been counted for the census before because, in my dear country Nigeria, the census exercise is carried out after ten years intervals and the one I experienced was the one that was carried out in the year 2006 where some of the census officials came to the house and counted the number of people living around us.
The process was not hard and stressful the only thing they did was to ask for the owner of the house and also asked us how many people are living in the house, we all came out and they did their counting and other important information after which they left for the next compound.
What do you think are the importance of carrying out census? State at list 5.
There are numerous important to carry out census among which are;
To know the total population of a particular country and state.
knowing the accurate data help the government to plan the infrastructure development in the country. Such as the hospitals, schools, e.t.c
It also helps to provide the database in all the sectors within the country.
It also helps in developing market strategies for better production and distribution systems of the market at large.
knowing the population of the people help the government to balance the environmental resources. That is to say, once the population is known then there will be a balanced then the needs of the people will be fulfilled with ease.
Is there any problems associated with census? Briefly explain if any.
I don't think there are any issues associated with census because it's for the good of the people and the leaders as well, knowing the statistics of the people will help them to meet up with their needs and demands. So I think the census is good for each country.
Do you think census can be carried out in steemit?
For sure l, it can be carried out if only the team agreed to come up with the initiative. Even though I know it will not be physical but it can be done online since we are in different countries and different states as well.
If it possible to carry out census in steemit, how would you do it?
As mentioned early, the census can be carried out in steemit only digitally because we are from different parts of the world so it can only be done online, and I will be glad to participate in the census if only it will be implemented in the platform.
Do you suggest census be carried out in steemit platform?
To me, I will say yes, the census should be carried out in steemit because it will make the team know the population of people in the blog. Also, it will make them differentiate steemians who are still on the platform or not. Each day new people sign in to the platform while others stopped blogging as well, so with the census being carried out the team will know the statistic of people in the platform each year.
The census will also help the steemit team to provide for the needs of the people when it comes to voting and support. And it will help them to balance it well knowing how many people are in each country.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the census is very good to be carried out in every country and state because it helps the leaders to know the statistic of people in the country in other to meet up with their demands effectively.

Hello dear freind, Census is very good interm of helping stake holders or a country to know the average numbers of population. Knowng the number of population will help in different ways interms of decision making and the future projection.
You have clearly explained what census is and your opinion on it important to steemit and the country atlarge.
New people always sigb in to the steemit platform as clearly stated, but not all that sign in are active members of the platform.
Census will there for quarantine the total number of steemian that sign in and the active members. That will help the platform to have a clear pocture of active, non active and even fraud users.
