SEC14 WK:#5: Charity Begins at home
Hello friends, it is another opportunity to make my entry into the community given the arrays of submissions already presented by other users. The week's topic on charity cannot be overemphasized given its numerous clarion calls to humanity it has continued to oversee vis-a-vis acts of kindness associated with it.

I am positive about the word charity and a supporter of charity works. This is one way we can give back to humanity and help the needy. Providing aid to the less privileged is one act that should be a going concern other than a showoff act. I have seen many, especially at this season visit the motherless and less privileged homes, to help them celebrate at this time. This act of kind of kindness is what clearly defines charity. However, it is important we also look at our neighbors around us, those who share the same apartment space with us, and reach out to them no matter how small at this time.
Charity should begin at home. We cannot leave our immediate constituency and start showing off in the public scene while giving. If we do this at home and within our environment, then it can only be complete this unalloyed affection for charity works. Those things we prefer to do outside, if we can also replicate them within our immediate homes and space, then one can be sure of its foundational acts.

One pivotal driver of charity is the acts of kindness, giving back to humanity, helping people out of dire situations, etc. We are humans and should be our brother's keeper. We cannot be better off and see our brother starving when we waste the excess we have in the bin. It doesn't know right since there are people out there who cannot afford a meal daily. This is the one motivating factor for me.
However, it is pleasing for me to give as I also derive satisfaction from it. Each time I find myself doing this, I feel fulfilled for the rest of the day. It is an act that I won't relent or deny myself from, but this is void of any form of public announcement. Why would I even want to show off to the public my generosity to the poor or the needy? It does not add up or make me fulfilled either. Just the way I would want my privacy so does the needy too. They shouldn't be taken advantage of unnecessarily by agencies who keep these scenes for record and per diem purposes.

As I earlier mentioned, this is an going concern for me. My family members are my immediate constituency and should not be abandoned in any way. In my little ways, I have been able to impact juniors in my lace of work this yuletide period, at the church, and for certain in my home this Christmas. These are my strong point of existence for now and I was able to reach out to them this month.
I could remember a friend who said, you've not enhanced your social life and left this triangular way of lifestyle where I'm either at home, church, or work. But good enough, I was able to reach out to this path without abandoning them after all.

My advice to others is that we don't necessarily have to make all the money before we can reach out to the needy or those who look up to us for survival. All fingers are not equal or in competition with each other, we are rather striving to make end means, therefore we are at a better view to know those that need us.
Just as said, charity begins at home. We do not need to overlook our immediate environment and want to be known for our philanthropic disposition in the public. It doesn't show responsibility in any stance of life. We have to be responsible for doing the right thing by differentiating between charity and political giving that depicts show-off.
Let's be our brothers and neighbors' keepers with a joyful heart filled with kindness other than grudges and backbiting.

Helping our hands to others is true charity; if we can help our surroundings in any way, whether it is spending quality time with them or sharing kind words with them, we will be satisfied.

I couldn't agree more. We don't have to wait until we have a lot of money to help those in need. We all have different circumstances and abilities, and that's okay. It's not about comparing ourselves to others, but about recognizing who needs our help and support.
Starting with our immediate environment is important because it allows us to be responsible and caring. We shouldn't seek recognition or show off our acts of charity. It's about doing the right thing with a genuine and kind heart.
Being our brothers' and neighbors' keepers means looking out for one another and showing kindness without any hidden agendas. It's about spreading joy and compassion instead of negativity and gossip.

I strongly believe that charity should begin at home. We should be our brother's keep at all times but in situations where we cannot be seen as heroes from home but just in outdoor events alone, it shows something isn't right.
Let's also remember that the home is society's first point of contact. If we correctly get things working from our immediate homes, society would be less hurtful to us.

That's very true. Our homes are the first point if we must have a decent society since everyone out there came from a home. We have ensure the right thing is done and in general give back to humanity.

Reaching out to people is one way I believe we humans can give back to humanity. Yes, we do not need to have all the wealth before doing so, our motivational words and togetherness could also go a long way. We just have to be kind to people around us. This is the only way we could be fair to each other.
