Greetings to all fellow steemians , kid lovers and steemkids it is of good privilege to join this wonderful contest trail hosted by @steemkidss.
Ok so I just want to start with the ingredients and then how to prepare the food actually the name of the food that I am making is
Rice and vegetable sauce with chicken and plantain.
My family really loves the food, and it is very nutritious as well, I think you really need to try it out.

Ingredients

• rice
• vegetable
• chicken
• pepper
• salt
• Tomatoes
• Plantain
• Onions
• Groundnut oil

Preparation

Step 1:

Firstly I started washing the rice and parboiling the rice to avoid dirt from the rice because dirt is harmful to the body, parboiling the rice is important to prevent excessive carbohydrates.

Step 2:

When I am done with boiling the rice i started breaking the egg so that i can beat it.

Step 3:

When I was done with beating the egg i started boiling the chicken so that after boiling i can fry the chicken.

Step 4:

When i am done i started cutting the vegetables so that we can start making the sauce, my aunt helped me cut the vegetable because I could not do it on my own.

Step 5

Then i started cutting the tomatoes and when i was done with cutting the tomatoes, I snapped the vegetable,egg and tomatoes together.

Step 6

When I was done with snapping the things I started heating up the oil ,then I added the onions the tomato and then the egg.

Step 7

When I am done with making the vegetable sauce I started frying the chicken and plantain, before frying the chicken, we need to wash it and boil it.

And finally the rice and vegetable is ready.

I felt really happy when I finished cooking, and my family really liked it, here is a picture with one of my family members who helped me.
