Successful home in the view of many has different meanings but I will love to share my thoughts about it. A successful home can be defined as a family where trustworthy parents pass down good values and ethics to their children. A successful home is also one whose progenitors are able to pass down good traditions and philosophy to the younger generation. A successful home is actually the people not the buildings. In the aspects of tradition and philosophy, the parents has a philosophy and tradition that made them successful and going. On order for a successful home to be created, the parent must pass this good philosophy down to the children. The Children will use this to have a happy and successful life in the future.

I totally agree to this fact that a good society is always determined by the number of successful homes built there. The family is purely the root of a society, state or a nation. This is the base in which a society need to thrive in. The number of successful homes give rise to a good society. The individuals in these successful home come together to display public good habits which entails the characteristics of a good society.But, when broken or wayward families join an alliance, the end product will be a bad society. A society which is characterized by corruption, anti social values, social vices, etc will be the order of the day.

Apart from love, patience and trust, they are other pillars that can stand a successful home which are:

• Truthfulness: This pillar has the ability to change a broken home to a successful home and also reinforce a successful home. Truthfulness is the quality that entails the whole family saying nothing but the truth. This quality is the bedrock of trust. This is because when everyone is saying the truth, no one will doubt anyone.
• Commitment: Commitment in this point of view refers to the parents taking into consideration the needs of the children and the family in general. They are committed to make sure that the family is up and doing. With this, you can tell that commitment can stand as a pillar to a successful home.

A broken home can influence a society in it's way and I'll love to explain this

• Availability of Social Vices: Since a broken home is one whose members's dreams are shattered, they have to look for another way. The way out is just committing bad acts like armed robbery, exploitation, vandalism, etc.
• Corruption: Mostly broken homes are empty inside. To cover this vacuum created, they tend to indulge in corruption which may be detrimental to the society at large.
