LOYALTY AND DEDICATION

A person who cannot be faithful with little things can also be unfaithful when something big is placed on him. In fact, to see how someone will react when great responsibility or position is given to them, notice how they react to the little things.

There are times when life doesn't give you everything you need right away, but just persevering with what it offers will help you get the most out of it. Not paying attention to the little things can prevent you from earning more, because being satisfied with the little things often makes people take away the bigger things.

For example, in your workplace, there are positions where your commitment, dedication and loyalty can guide you. Do you remember the story of that janitor from a company who was very loyal to his job. He will be the first to come to work even if he is not on the main payroll, and he will be the last to leave because he will clean up the place when the others leave. The company has four cleaners, but he is the only one with an unprecedented level of loyalty and commitment to the job.

There was a moment when they started giving him the keys to the company because he was the first to arrive and the last to leave. He was also assigned other duties outside of his job and was ridiculed by cleaners. Some said the company was exploiting him as they were not paying him extra. However, this does not reduce his standards, he continues to do his job happily.

One day came when one of the CEOs resigned from the company, so the CEOs space was empty. While searching for an in-house replacement, the company's Owner, who often sees the cleaners' dedication, called the directors for a quick meeting. During the speech, he learned that the janitor was a graduate but resigned to janitorial work since he could not find a job that suits his course.

Without hesitation, during the meeting, the CEO praised the cleaner for his loyalty even when he was unattended. He was later announced as a replacement for the outgoing director. This is how he went from a keeper to a manager who enjoys the privileges of the house and the car simply out of loyalty to the little things entrusted to him. Little did he know that the CEO had seen him this whole time and loved him, and finally, his dedication to his little position paid off.

If he was unfaithful in a small task he was assigned, he may have missed more important things that should have been assigned to him.

One thing to know about loyalty is that it is not the size of the task that determines its loyalty, but your determination and your sense of responsibility in that particular task. Attaching a sense of responsibility to your task creates enthusiasm for striving to achieve it. If you are unfaithful to little things, you will repeat the same when given a bigger work. Not only that, many things can rob your confidence.

Never forget that your loyalty starts small and then grows massive. If you feel that a somewhat unfaithful person will suddenly become loyal in many things, you will be disappointed. Loyalty involves many things; From your personal relationships with people, to your relationships, to your workplace, to the tasks assigned to you, and more.

You will agree with me that if you are a boss and want to promote your employees, you will first think of someone who has faithfully and faithfully performed his duties before others. This is one of the benefits of loyalty. Be loyal to even the little things in life.
