A POSITIVE LOOK AT CHALLENGES.
We all expect good things to happen. However, good things can sometimes be hidden by challenges. When facing challenges, you should look beyond them and focus on the reasons behind them. No wonder it is said that "a bad situation is a function of how the human mind interprets it". If you can look beyond what your physical senses can detect, you will find that even bad situations can teach you good lessons.
How you see the situation will determine your response to it. I remember an experience a friend of mine once shared with me. A few years ago, she sought to attend a certain academy. However, when she tried to join, his request was denied. At first she felt very sad and frustrated because she had put all her hopes into the academy. In her mind, she almost lost hope.
When she shared the experience with her friend, he told her to find out why she was not accepted into the academy because if she didn't find out he might repeat himself. Same thing and refused again. In her search for the reason for the refusal, she found that a particular request was not fulfilled. You must meet the requirements and re-register. So she fulfilled the requirement, re-registered and finally she was accepted into the academy.
If she had not found out why this happened the first time, it can happen again. This is just to let you know that every day we live there is something you can add to your knowledge base and that life itself is full of lessons for you to learn. You can only learn life lessons if you are open to accepting situations as they arise and react appropriately. I mean, first you know the reason behind it and then you will know how to deal with it.
One of the things that shows that a person has matured is when he learns to accept the things he cannot change, and then learns from that very thing to become better, whether in judgment, perception or decision-making. The only thing that distinguishes successful people from others is not the number of opportunities they have, but the way they interact with them. That's why you should be open to responding to opportunities as they arise.
